This hotel was the best. Staff wonderful, room excellent. The experience was unmatched. I especially loved the complementary cucumber hibiscus water on the 11th floor. Great when coming in from walking around the French Quarter. Keep up the good work. All hotels should take notes.

We love everything about this property. It is easy to walk to any main attractions. We walked along the river to the French Quarters, shopping, eating, and all the Jazz bars. After the nice excursion, we can come back to our nice room and have our PEACE and QUIET. The room is so comfortable- the space, the bed. Bounus- the bar is lively with Great drinks options for non alcohol drinker. The food is excellent !! We love the Po-boy shrimp sandwich.

The convenient, premium, attached Parking Garage is Not free and is not part of Westin. Upon arrival I assumed parking was part of Westin when we self parked, after checking with Valet parking attendant and being helpfully directed to connected parking garage. (Valet parking appeared very busy upon arrival) Upon check out of hotel I learned my vehicle may have been “ booted/immobilized ” for lack of pre-paying parking. (Fee would have been $90 to remove boot plus added parking fee). Westin desk staff could not provide any assistance other than instruction to call parking garage enforcement, if booted) All worked out well, in the end, as we were not booted and departure from overnight parking garage was uneventful. (Perhaps a few words on parking arrangements(paid pre-paid parking) would be helpful upon check-in—-maybe added to check-in information/services sheet which Westin desk staff provided) This caused a bit of departure angst and was a slightly negative event in an otherwise excellent stay)

Great stay near the Aquarium
Stayed there so that we were near the Aquarium. I had my 7 and 9 year old grandchildren with me. My only disappointment was no swimming pool.... the pictures on the website showed a pool and they no longer have one. I requested a river view... the kids loved watching the river and spotting cars in the quarter.

Such a wonderful location, I spent most of my time while in the room looking out the window at the river! It’s within walking distance to everything, or there’s easy access to multiple types of transportation if your destination is too far away. The only reason I gave staff & service 1 less star is at check-in was due to a communication issue about the card used for incidentals/room charge.
