I had the pleasure of staying at the Mercantile Hotel during the ASHP Midyear Conference, and it was an outstanding experience. While the hotel itself was beautiful and well-appointed, I want to give special recognition to Mr. Barry in the kitchen. His friendliness and warm demeanor made every interaction a delight. His attention to detail, whether it was ensuring the meals were perfect or accommodating guests’ needs, was exceptional. What truly stood out was his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure every guest felt valued and cared for. Mr. Barry’s dedication to excellence left a lasting impression and made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Mr. Barry, and the entire Mercantile Hotel team, for such memorable hospitality. I’ll definitely recommend this hotel to colleagues and look forward to returning in the future.

Wonderful Visit
My husband and i visited New Orleans for the weekend. We loved our suite., it was clean, quiet and very comfortable. The Mercantile front desk staff members were helpful and polite. Really great visit! Nice, safe location. We are ao thankful for a wonderful stay at the Mercantile.

Disappointed that there was no door between the bedroom and main room, hinges but no door, that there was no view or light from outside since all windows faced a brick wall, that housekeeping cost extra, that the hallway floor had the same piece of dental floss by the elevator for 3 days, that the front desk staff knew nothing and were unhelpful, that the soundtrack for breakfast was the loud incessant banging of the air hockey game being played every morning, and the paper thin walls let me hear the guy talking on the phone next door, but luckily for only one day.
