I could have given an 7/10 to this hotel, until I saw a roach. To me that is enough to fail a rating. The front desk staffs are warm and friendly. But one breakfast lady was rude. Also, the lobby was under remodeling during our stay. Travelers have to walk by the work site.

Hotel is under renovations right now, so lobby area is affected. We stayed 3 nights, but they never sent any staff to make up the room. We just wanted the garbage taken out and some more towels and toilet paper. We asked for a garbage bag so we could take out our own garbage, but it never came.

Location is pretty good for walking to canal street and Jackson square. We were able to take the trolley to city park. We also enjoyed a cruise in the creole queen. The area is very basic and is fine during the day light. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable.

Overall Ok hotel at a nice location
Rooms were good, got the basic Marriott standard. Vallet Parking is $42+Taxes. Front lobby construction is going on so things are bit unorganized now. Just stayed for 1 night, found the room service is slow / unresponsive over phone. Overall good, no major concerns.

The lobby/ front desk is under construction. There is no bellman to help with luggage, valet acted as if they didn’t want to be there . Front desk was great!
