Nice place to stay

Within walking distance to just about everything. We enjoyed our room, it was clean, and comfortable. An enjoyable space to relax after walking and partying all day. The patio area was also really nice. I couldn’t enjoy the popcorn due to it was self serve and to many hands including children had access to it. Didn’t take the risk.

I would not stay here again.

The room was very spacious with the bedroom separate. The Door to the bathroom was huge and had towel hangers top and mid door, the lower one kept hitting me as a walked in. It was annoying. The drain in the vanity did not work. The lever to make it go up or down was broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were awful. For the positive, it was the best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. The people were friendly and the food was very good. I spoke with the manager and he was also very friendly. The rest of the staff were competent, but not very friendly, out going. The young man that valeted our vehicle smelled of cigarette or pot, which made our car smell. The valet guys were also not the friendliest. For what you pay for it, you would think they would be.

We appreciated the basketball hoop and outdoor courtyard with covered area and fire pit. The breakfast was only a couple clicks better than what you find at chains with hot options. Son appreciated the pancake machine and nutella packets. "Scrambled eggs" every day with tortilla and "taco toppings" with rotating meat option. Based on the hotel description, we were expecting a little more flare in the food options. Our room on Tchoupitoulas St was really noisy on Saturday night until 2-3am -- loud, bass-y cars stopping regularly at the intersection. Made for a rough start to our trip. Unfortunately, the St. Charles street car was not operating the week we were there. About a 13 minute walk to French Quarter, though. Very convenient to WWII museum. Rooms are cleaned only once a week, which is nice until you run out of soap, but the front desk was helpful, always.

Ok, but could have been better.

The check-in was quick and easy, front desk staff were nice, funny, and accommodating, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Unfortunately, the roll-out sofa hadn’t been cleaned since last used. When we pulled it out, there was an old vape and dirt on the bed. It was gross. The mattress needed to be sanitized and all covers needed to be changed.

It was a comfortable room that had everything I needed. Mattress was VERY firm which I liked but could be off putting for others. The fire pit was a must every night I was there. Breakfast was great. No complaints at all.

I got the worst room in the hotel, right on the sidewalk and street level. They should never give this room to anyone ever again. One week of getting woke up multiple times a night to drag racers going past the hotel, loud motorcycles , people standing outside the windows yelling, it was terrible. Will never stay there again.

We visited NOLA mainly for the WWII musuem. Location was perfect, 1 block away. There's also a few bars within walking distance. French quarter close enough and far enough not to hear the noise. Also close to Riverwalk outlet mall. We got a suite. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Breakfast was good, hot meal, nothing fancy. No complaints here

Property was perfect for one night stay prior to cruise. Took about 20 min walk to carnival terminal. Hotel smells musty in hallways, but staff was kind and room was overall nice.
