This is not a full service hotel and if you realize that you won’t be disappointed. There is no food inside the hotel, but food is obviously pitiful in the French Quarter in which the hotel is conveniently located. The quarters are a bit dated, but the staff is quite friendly and helpful.

Wonderful staff, great location, and excellent value. The only issue is poor sound proofing on the ceiling, so you hear every step made in the room above - problem if you aren’t an early riser. Otherwise a great choice.

This is a well-maintained, older historic property. Tours even come into the courtyard due to the historic relevance of the property. Rooms are small, and ours was a bit musty, but to be expected in such a humid environment, and the age of the buildings. The staff was over the top, nice helpful and did their best to meet everyone of our needs. I think it’s quite unusual to have a pool in this neighborhood and it was very refreshing to be able to come out back and cool off, I don’t think you can beat the location one block off Jackson Square and if you’re in into Bourbon Street that’s close walkable to Frenchmen Street. The room was clean and they did provide service while we were there, which seems to be an unusual thing these days.

We loved this hotel — the staff made the stay even more enjoyable. They were always friendly and full of suggestions when we were looking for recommendations. The hotel is very close to many restaurants, bars etc. It was clean and the courtyard was a fabulous place to wind down after walking around New Orleans all day. We’ll certainly be back again!
