French Quarter Find
We booked an overnight so we would be on time for our cruise the next day. We arrived early and they allowed us to drop off our luggage after we registered and then we were able to wander around and sight see. They are within walking distance of Bourbon Street and French Quarter. They texted when our room was ready. We loved the courtyard room next to the pool. Quiet, Clean & Comfortable. And the common room / bar was a great place to rest. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel as well and not expensive to Lyft/Uber from downtown

Our room door would not lock, parking area and walk to room was unsafe, no tv remote. We cancelled our reservation and will be disputing the charge since it said it was nonrefundable.

The hotel was one of the old buildings that had been renovated. The was a big room with high ceilings with a/c. There was no microwave or refrigerator or a cabinet in the bathroom. The parking was secure but hard to get in and out of. It did have 2 pools and the suites did have balconies.

We paid for the private parking which was nice and easy. $35/day. One downside is it is right off Rampart St which is super loud it seems at all hours. Which is somewhat expected for New Orleans, but it seemed the walls were paper thin cause we heard EVERYTHING. Also, you have to be “buzzed” into the hotel to get to your room. Your room key does NOT get you into the building. Several times we came back in the evening, once around 7:30 pm and again around 9 pm and nobody was at the front desk to let us in. We had to bang on the door and finally housekeeping let us in. Major inconvenience.

I've been going to New Orleans for over 20 years, so I have stayed at a lot of places. I love the location of this place, everything is walkable and it's right next to Armstrong park. Area is safe and has the tram right in front, so you can get to most places with the excellent public transportation. The room was small, but clean with a large TV for any downtime. Property was clean and didn't have many people, as we came in on Tuesday. Keep in mind this is a moderate level hotel, so trying to compare to a higher end hotel isn't a fair comparison. Great pricing and loved the place, we will be back!

I’m not sure about the other rooms, but if you’re unfortunate enough to get the last room available(#101), it’s directly beside the front desk….. This means anytime anyone calls, enters, or even speaks, you are going to wake up. So don’t you worry about the 12:00 p.m. check out time, the free 7:30 a.m. wake-up call (the employees talking to each other in the lobby right outside your door) has you covered! This should not be a room. It should be an office. The over $500 I payed with the $40 extra added for parking just to get a total of 3 hours of sleep, I just wanted people to know, it’s definitely not worth it.

The property is amazing. It is like entering your own private estate. Yes, there are others there but, it is so quiet. The stairs are emaculately polished. There is a sitting room with a bar that will take you back and give you memories of your wildest fantasy of living a wealthy life. The room I was in was very clean. The bed was very comfy. But, there isnt a small frig so, dont bring food to the room. You can however, drink, lol. An ice bucket is provided. My room overlooked the courtyard where there was a beautiful pool. You must go and experience this place. It is within walking distance to everywhere. You wont be disappointed.

Clean, comfortable bed.
Clean and comfortable bed in a good location on the edge of The French Quarter. Our room was a junior suite, but lacked a table or dresser in the front room. In this suite, room 202, the traffic noise and construction going on next door is very loud. Loud car music woke me up one night at like 3 am. I asked to move my room and was told this was the only junior suite with a king bed available, and I would have to pay more to move. I just put up with the noisy room and saved my money. If you are going to call the room a junior suite, put a table and a small dresser in it, the space was big enough, it was just a room with two chairs. The pool and courtyard area was nice. Convenient ATM on site also. It served our needs for a short four night trip, but it could have been better. The guy at the desk seems disinterested and grumpy. The female desk staff were very nice and welcoming.
