The hotel itself was nice but our experience was horrible. There were people fighting outside our door , yelling and screaming. Then it stopped and continues again all night from 2am until 7am they would not stop talking loudly , yelling, cussing and it made us feel unsafe. I called the front desk to make a noise complaint and they said they would call. I don’t know if they ever did because the loud talking, yelling and cussing lasted for many more hours.

Property is only three blocks north of Bourbon Street, which is its greatest plus. Certainly you’d expect to make some accommodations for an old, converted property, but the run-down quality of the surrounding area, the lack of modern amenities (room fridge??), and the very spartan room layout were a bit too much. That said, if you enjoy properties that seem haunted, balanced by the joyful noise of 5-yr olds playing in the courtyard pool RIGHT outside your door, then this is the place for you. Room was clean and almost all of the staff were polite and helpful. Extra $35/day to self-park your rental on the property.

Decent lovely stay

It was fine! A basic room, the tv channels didn’t work sometimes and there wasn’t a dresser in the room. But the staff was lovely and the housekeeping was on top of things! Also the shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water from going onto the floor. The bed was firm but comfortable and the light was gorgeous. The pool was stunning and never too crowded and easy to have guests over

The location was quite close to the French Quarter, very walkable. The coffee and pastries in the morning hit the spot. The pool was a great afternoon hang. The front desk was helpful and kind! Overall we had a great experience.

It was a beautiful place but there was no noise control so staying by the pool was a bit rough. Some of the staff were lovely others were rude. Housekeeping was sporadic and the parking is $30/day. We chose street parking and just walked everywhere.

The room was ok and clean. Outside patio and pool areas filty and unuseable. Pools were unsanitary. Parking area gate didn't operate and not a good neighbor. Fast food places like Dominos and Pizza hut would not deliver to us there.

The hotel has a lot of charm. Easy to walk to Bourbon Street etc. The pool was nice. The only downfall was that the outside street is very noisy and it made it hard to sleep.

I found the location to be perfectly placed. Nicely far enough away from the epicentre but close enough to walk there in minutes. Would be nice to have a smoking section on site and maybe a small fridge and dresser in the room but otherwise was more than happy with everything.
