Kinda worth it.

The trip was good, the hotel was average expect to pay an additional $300 on hidden fees about $50/day for parking. And other incidental random geese that add on to your base rate. The hotel isn’t as eciting as I thought staff is helpful but the rooftop is kinda mildly fun. Would come back but good to experience I guess lol.

From the moment I arrived, the level of care and attention I received at this hotel was truly exceptional. Sean, who checked me in, went above and beyond to ensure I had the best room and the most comfortable stay possible—his hospitality set the tone for the rest of my visit. Each morning, the incredibly talented barista crafted the most delicious custom coffee drinks, making my mornings feel extra special. In the evenings, Chris at the rooftop pool bar was the perfect host—welcoming, attentive, and always on point with both service and conversation. Every interaction, every detail, every gesture made by the staff reminded me why true hospitality matters. This team delivered not just service, but a full experience of care, warmth, and excellence. Because of them, I can honestly say: I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit New Orleans again. Shout out to the entire team for being the best hospitality crew I’ve ever encountered. This was my second stay at the NOPSI, and the hotel is great. Clean and safe, and staff are welcoming and nice. My only complaint this stay was something that was possibly out of their control, but worth mentioning. I called the day before my check in to see about the process with an early check in, since our flight was an early arrival. The young lady stated the earliest they could checkin was 11am and it is first come first serve, you have to be on property to request it, yet she was going to put a note on my reservation. She also said they will check our bags until room is open. So we were at the hotel at 10am, requested the early check in, and checked our bags, and was told noon-1 room would be ready, and the front lobby was pretty dead at this time. We went about our business , went to eat and walked around a little, but it was so humid out(and our teenage kids were with), so we decided we had to wait it out in lobby at hotel. So we waited, meanwhile other people arriving were coming to check in, there was also a big wedding party, that I’m sure the hotel wanted to accommodate Standard check in is 4pm.

The location was nice. The room was your average room. The one thing that I didn’t really think was top notch was the staff at the front desk. When I checked in, the front desk clerk was not friendly, didn’t explain anything and didn’t even tell me my room number or how to get to the elevator. I had to ask all of these questions. I had other friends staying there as well and they had a similar experience with the front desk staff not being the friendliest. I ate in the restaurant a few times. The food was good but not great. And the evening servers in the restaurant were not very attentive. However the breakfast crew was very kind and accommodating.
