Room wound up in an adjacent building and not in the ‘recent renovated’ main hotel address. No running hot water (in adjacent rooms as well after talking with neighbours), no room fridge even though advertised as ‘deluxe’ room. I get these buildings are old - thats one of the charms and appeal, but run down and tired decor and furnishings when advertising ’recently renovated’ isn't cool. Exterior door was sketchy to lock with an open gap in the double french door that was breezy and compromised privacy. Quiter location away from wilder sections of the quarter but well within walking distance if you wanted to partake.

I like the location and the staff is friendly but the room was kind of small and didn’t offer much in the way of electrical outlets.

Overall my stay was good but there were a few faulty items like the shower rod in my bathroom that fell on me each time I showered lol. I would come back for sure but maybe just a bit more attention to detail. thanks!

Cute simple place to stay, I highly recommend

Nice lil place to stay. I chose the regular room because it was just for sleeping and showering. A curved staircase to go to the second and third floors. A few more stairs(3) in the hall depending on where your room is, and about 4 stairs inside the room to access the bathroom. There is an ice bucket, cups, bottled water, coffee marker and supplies inside of room. Bathroom was stocked with body wash, shampoo, etc. but, No oral care, Everything was clean, staff were exceptional, the man that works nights made our stay so much greater with all his hospitality, knowledge and recommendations. I would stay here again just for him. The location was walkable to everything I needed. The only con would be thin walls, and need black out curtains on the window.

Perfect location

Very cute, clean room In An excellent location to enjoy Burton Street and Canal street activities. Right smack in the French Quarter! We walked everywhere. We felt safe. Room was small but great for a couple on a short stay. Reasonable cost for the location.

Rustic brick walls, original fireplace (although not usable), original wood floors contrasting with crystal chandelier was charming. But our room had no windows. Water pressure was a trickle. Some aspects of the Inn were shabby, especially the reception area. Seems like refurbishing the reception area would make a major improvement and not that costly. Good location though, and nice staff.
