My mom was unable to get out of Tampa to join us due to weather related flight cancellations. Unfortunately neither Expedia or the hotel were able to make any accommodation. The extra room was left empty through St Patrick’s Day parade week. The place is gorgeous, very nostalgic, and the staff is super kind and welcoming. While I wish the water was much hotter for our showers, it was a very nice experience and a great place to stay. Highly recommended

Being in an older/historical part of New Orleans, we expected that the facility would be a bit older and would have it's quirks. There was a slope in the floor and the water in the hand sink didn't warm up. But the hotel had charm and was very quiet. The location was perfect and was very walkable to most destinations.

The rooms needed upgrades. The lock on the door was to difficult to open we were told to just play with it to open Opening the curtains had to climb on the sofa to open Other than that was good

**Disappointing Stay – Unclean and Poor Housekeeping** Our experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. Upon arrival, we were met with a room that was far from clean—hairballs were scattered across the floor, clearly built up over time, and the bathroom had layers of grime that had been neglected for who knows how long. The floors were filthy, covered in dirt and hair from previous guests, making it evident that housekeeping was not a priority. To make matters worse, our room was never cleaned during our entire stay. One bed was "made" with the blanket simply tossed on top with no real effort, while the other bed wasn’t touched at all. The level of grime in the room was beyond unacceptable—it felt as though the space hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in weeks. We had no choice but to purchase Lysol and wipe down surfaces ourselves just to make it bearable. While the location was convenient and within walking distance of major attractions, and the staff was friendly, the lack of cleanliness completely overshadowed any positives. I absolutely would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-maintained stay.

The parking area was super small, hard to find parking when we arrived, hard to get into and out of. Was given a ticket like they give for valet, I assume that what it was for. But, no, we had to get our own car when we left to go home. So, not sure why we left our keys with them. They walk you to your room when you arrive, that was great! The door handle was hard to operate at times. Kept locking myself out or in the room. The beds and pillows was comfy, had better toilet paper than most places I’ve stayed at. Room seemed super cold no matter where we put the thermostat.

This hotel was perfectly located just on the outer rim of the French Quarter where is was quiet at night. All of the notable attractions were within walking distance. The staff was so polite and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

The property has charm and is exactly what i expected of the FQ. Did not expect...toilet clogging more than once, poor customer service at check in and hidden fees. Location was perfect and a few staff were nice and helpful.
