The only problem we had was with parking and that was pretty self induced. I only mention it in. Are someone else does what I did. We got in late so the valet gate was closed. I should have asked when I called about how that would have worked. But I pulled off onto the side of street, my husband walked in and they sent the person out to open the gate and park our car. The hotel was great. We didn’t get rooms with a view but that’s ok. It felt very French Quarter. I love staying in well kept older places. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The last day I went down to the cafe because it was raining. I was not impressed. The floor was filthy, the food was mediocre, but the coffee I had was pretty good. I only ate there because it was raining and didn’t want to join the men at the museum. Much better to go out and explore for breakfast like we did on previous days.

Thank you for the stay. The staff here were awesome, especially the concierge and the dive bar staff Julie and Anthony. Thr hotel was very cute, definitely older and more rustic. The only thing we had issues with in the room was the floor was very old and had a carpet that was seemingly falling apart and was kind of soft and dirty. Definitely needs updating. My bf did not like the carpet/floor at all. Definitely bring slippers if staying here. Other than that everything was great. Could do with an iron in the room too though. But staff and bar were excellent!

Great place to stay when visiting theFrench Quarter. Excellent location. Handy to have a nice bar, restaurant and coffee shop downstairs. Valet parking was also secure in a private garage.

Overall was satisfied with the hotel & room. Keeping in mind that we stayed when there were no events going on in the area. Certainly the location was perfect as it relates to Bourbon Street. The staff that we interacted with was wonderful. Very nice & helpful. The room, though having beautiful old style architecture, was on the smaller side. And you don’t have some of the “comforts” that you get with hotels nowadays. I guess the biggest thing I noticed was that it seemed the room entry door was not real thick, or sound proof, as you could clearly hear what was being said outside your door. And then on the opposite side, the outside wall or window the same.. any vehicle that went by you could hear. Oh… and below us had a balcony. Any time they went out and arranged the chairs on the balcony it was loud in our room. But. All that said. I would stay again. Especially if I was there to party hard.

This was a nice and quiet stay on an off street really close to bourbon street. In a very centralized area with a lot to see around but also close to the outer edge where traffic was not too bad. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again.
