Over all this was a pleasant experience. The hotel is in an excellent location which makes walking around the FQ easily accessible. The hotel grounds are small and the pool isn't heated so pretty much unusable during winter/spring months while we were there. The rooms are very small (quaint) which made it hard to share space with three adults. The shower didn’t have a lot of pressure so not easy for a timely shower. The doors have shutter windows which made the room rather light at night; nothing a sleep mask won’t cure. There is no baggage service so you have to lug bags up stairs so pack light. Parking is expensive and mandatory valet ($45 plus tax per day). No food at the hotel but lots of options close. The positives are that the staff is very friendly and the location is hard to beat. Most hotels in the French quarter are very old buildings which is the charm of it. As stated before, the over all experience was good. The price was right and the location was great! We would definitely consider the hotel again; maybe just not with three people in the room.

very clean, great service as we got there very early and they locked up our luggage and phoned us when our room was ready at 1pm instead of 3pm. We would easily go back ....very good location as well

Love it!

This was our second stay here, and it was as good as the first! The location is great—a short walk to everywhere in the French Quarter. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable. A warning (this is not a criticism)—the hotel is historic so the bathrooms are quite small. Also, there are no elevators, so you might have to climb stairs if you’re not on the first floor; however, the valet will carry luggage up and down.

Excellent hotel

This is a very nice property in a very good location. It has a nice little bar. The hotel is very old so has a lot of charm but is fully modernized in terms of bathroom, electrical, heating/cooling. Service and staff are excellent. Highly recommend.

Love this hotel. Right in the French Quarter and very close to Café Du Monde!! Friendly staff and a great little bar. Would recommend this place for sure. I think they are still family owned which makes it even more attractive. Support local!!!

I will tell everyone going to NOLA to stay here! It is in the perfect location, close/walkable to everything but on a quiet street. It was a very clean, comfortable room with a lovely bathroom. It had an adorable courtyard and nice bar attached (Thomas was great). Desk attendants (Jerome & Tony) were very friendly and professional. My only slight was that the parking is a bit expensive at $51 a night (with tax), but it was located inside the property with gate access so car was safe.
