If u r a little bit late for checkout they call u n rudely tell u they are going to charge a $50 late fee. Very, very rude
There was no hand soap, no shelf in the shower to put shampoo etc., no phone, and the hair dryer didn’t work. The staff was friendly but the amenities were sadly disappointing.
The entrance is not handicapped accessible, if I would have brought my electric scooter I wouldn’t have been able to get up on the block to come up to even get in the door. They have a hand seat blocking the way to get in the doors if you have a medical device. They don’t have an elevator to get to the second floor nor do they specify that they have a second floor and the only way to access it is walking up some stairs. They put me in a room on the first floor however I will not be able to open and close the door on my own. I will have to keep running to the office to have someone unlock my room very unprofessional. I told them I needed to work out in the morning at five in the morning. The gym should not be on the second floor, especially if you don’t have an elevator for people to get up there. It’s basically fine Handicap people aren’t allowed to work out . The room wouldn’t open. It took over 10 minutes to try to get the door to open. And I never received my $50 from the deposit. The woman at the front desk knew before she gave me the room that the card key wouldn’t open the door and was rude about it. There was a hard time to even get my walker pass the front desk to even get to the room. They had to keep sending for housekeeping to unlock the door for me every time I had to leave the room.
Check in was rough due to an issue with the booking. Front desk handled it well but it was still annoying and time consuming. Room was okay. Shower water was too hot and wouldn’t adjust. Comfortable bed and pillows. Unfortunately, on our last day there, we seen a roach. And it’s a lot of “street walkers” in the area.

Room assigned looked used and uncleaned. Was assigned a different room after that. There was no shower curtain or partition in the bathroom and so water was all over the floor after taking bath.
I would give zero stars, not satisfied at all. We had no power and very uncomfortable trying to sleep without some type of air circulating. Couldn't shower unless you enjoyed cold showers, I couldn't warm my food and the fridge was not no longer keeping my items frozen in the freezer. I asked for a refund for a day because I woke up to no power. It was around 1 pm that I decided to book another hotel. Instead of giving a refund for the inconvenience I was told no and basically deal with it.
Happy Mardi Gras !!! The staff were very friendly , large and clean rooms. Great value and location. Breakfast was great. Tressa the manager was very accommodating. I will be back next year.
