If you want to been in 'the quarter' but have peace, stay here. Loved balcony. Halls need some reno but the room, amenities, shower, etc - and staff were great. As solo female traveler - felt totally safe.

From the moment we arrived it felt like a 5 star resort. The entire staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was pleasant. Both of the concierges we interacted with were top notch and knew their stuff. We also loved the atmosphere / architecture / decor of the building matching the French quarter. One of the reasons we chose this property. Great location for everything we wanted to do within walking distance. Bourbon street was 1 block up and for how loud it can be, you never would have guessed that from the hotel. It was so quiet at night. The courtyards were great for swimming or relaxing. Loved watching the turtles play. We will definitely stay here again.

Roaches in our room. Killed two in about 10 min time and took to front desk in plastic cups. 2nd room is run down. Torn/tattered blind, lights not working, gaps along wall /floow and carpet. Ive got pictures and video of everything ive noted

The location is perfect. Close to the action but quiet when you want a break from the fun of the city. Rooms were spacious, clean and house keeping tended to us daily. We were disappointed that continental breakfast was not offered and microwaves in the rooms would be a nice touch. Overall, a good choice and I would come back!
