Well, Hilton is always my go to. With that being said,after I checked in and checked under the sheets, I discovered the bedding was never changed. Fecal remains in the toilet. Tub was disgusting… front desk lady gave me a cleaner room when I showed her the pictures .

Hotel is close to cruise port which is why I booked it. The hotel was a converted factory building and was really cool, breakfast area was huge and coffee is good.

After the flight from hell, which was delayed for hours and hours, and changing planes because of the broken hydraulics, we finally arrived at the hotel at 4am, just to be told that our fully paid reservation was cancelled because we arrived too late in the night. We had a child with us and were desperate, so I paid double the amount of our booking just to get the room and be able to sleep for a few hours. In the morning I spoke with the manager who told me that since I booked through Expedia they should call the hotel and request the refund, Expedia customer service agent reached out to the hotel multiple times just to be told that they will not refund me. So all and all I paid 3 times the price for a mediocre room with no noise insulation. Will I ever book with Hampton Inn - no, would they care - of course not.

Warning: Don’t Leave Anything Behind at Hilton Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center I stayed at the Hilton Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans-Convention Center (1201 Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70130), and I highly recommend you double-check your belongings before leaving! I accidentally left my La Mer facial cleanser and Starbucks thermos in my room after checking out. Since then, I’ve called the hotel five times with no answer, and left five voicemails—but no one has returned my calls. When I passed through New Orleans on my way back, I stopped by the hotel to inquire. The front desk couldn’t reach housekeeping and told me to speak with someone in the office. The office staff directly told me they hadn’t found anything. I then went to the floor where I stayed and asked three housekeeping staff members, who just sent me back to the front desk. I also asked for a manager’s contact info, but the front desk said they had no authority to provide it. This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, with absolutely zero customer service and no effort to help me retrieve my belongings. Hilton, you seriously need to address this!

Good hotel
Nice style hotel located just 1.3 mile from French Quarter. Walkable distance to Canal St and further. Quiet inside and outside with safe neighborhood. Unfortunately has a valet parking only $42 plus tax. Cheaper city parking available just one block west. Breakfast like any other american hotels- means untastey things called "food"

Room which is shown in picture is different and real room is very small . There is no proper bar and dinning available .when I get in to my room my air conditioner is not working I reported this to front desk and the lady is so arrogant and said I have to wait until tomorrow . I said I cannot and after some discussion they changed my room . This is not what I am expecting with Hilton
