Hotel is very good, we liked athmosphere and style! Room was clean. Peaceful and food location. Walking distance to shopping, resturants and Bourbon street
A stylish and comfortable hotel located an easy walk to the Julia St. cruise terminal and also not too far to the French Quarter. My only complaint would be the slow breakfast service in the cafe and the price of food for what you get. Otherwise fine.
I booked this trip on 2/6/25, and on the night we arrived at 9 pm, I received a message from the hotel saying they could not accommodate us, and they would be moving us to another hotel, which did not look great. Luckily, I quickly went on Expedia and booked another hotel in a few minutes. Expedia was great and helped us to get the refund from Cambria. We ended up at the JW Marriott which was good.
Still waiting on my deposit back... it's been over two weeks... that being said, the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I stayed with my pets. They do have a pet hall which was relatively quiet. Our room already kind of have a dog smell to it, which didn't bother me too much since I came with dogs of my own. But I would suggest they maybe doing some deep carpet cleaning. My shoe kept sticking to an area of it so I grabbed a washcloth to scrub it to see what was going on. The cloth was black as night... also, there was pink gunk around the shower head. It gave me the ick pretty bad, maybe it's just rust? The shower curtain was also torn at the top. It would be a perfect stay if they just put a little more attention to detail to things like that. The breakfast was great though!! I don't know really get what the $25 amenity fee is for when you don't really get anything? Maybe I missed what it was for. Over all, it could've been better, could've also been a lot worse. I think if they tweaked those few things they would be a top tier stay.
Water pressure needs to be improved, but other than that is was a clean hotel and the staff was exceptional. The email communications were also very good. Located in a good spot and easy to get to.
Great stay! Really good food options a few minutes walk away. Two great coffee shops across the street, Crepes nearby were awesome. Great seafood at Briquette, and great local staple for a roast beef po boy at Mother's.
