Great location! Within walking distance of Jackson Square and several fine dining options! Our coffee machine was broken, safe was broken, not enough trash cans, makeup mirror was terrible and no hot water

My room was the main feature of this trip. Loft bed and bathroom, wonderful views from my balcony. It is an amazing hotel. It's also at a very centralized spot. It's in the middle of everything. Short walks everywhere you want to go. I stayed here a few day on my first trip to NOLA, then moved to different hotels. My second trip, I tried another spot. Never again will I stray from the "Bourbon Orleans". It is the destination for my New Orleans adventures. Love it!!!

Very nice hotel in the middle of the French Quarter. Convenient to all the French Quarter has to offer. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is we stayed three nights and room was only cleaned one night, the bed was never made and towels not replaced. Still, we had a nice stay and would stay there again.

The lobby, staff, and check-in process of the hotel made us feel so welcome on or quick 2 day trip. The heated pool was closed which was disappointing since it doesn’t mention that on the site so we had no idea until check-in. Then we entered our room; settling in, our “first” room was dirty not just dirty but not cleaned from previous guests, after clearing that up we get a “new” room. While waiting for our new room we watched the cleaner come for the previous room (2 doors down) she was in and out in less than 20 minutes and never even changed the comforter, which was a little discomforting. Let’s just say these room are small which was fine because we didn’t plan on spending much time there. When we settled in we started to see how the cleanliness fell short of what we expected. Hair in shower, the soaps on wall were empty but we were able to get some the next day, some kind of liquid spilled on the baseboard where the small trash can is in the sleeping area, the doors looked like they haven’t been wiped down in years around the handles were black, the ac/heat didn’t work we set it at 74 and it got down to 69 tried to turn on the heat and it went down to 67 we finally just shut it off to feel comfortable in the room.

At this price point I would expect a hotel to get the basic things right. The rooms look great in the pictures but the blinds don't close properly so the room is really bright, there's no noise reduction from the street or the bands in the hotel bar and I endured more the one cold shower. The location is convenient and the staff were fantastic. The amenities need to be refreshed.

The hotel is definitely historic and a monument to the old New Orleans French Quarter. We were amazed when we entered our room with a balcony that it was two levels with the bed upstairs. That was a great surprise. We had problems with the staff, however, as the maid came in while we were still in the room getting dreesses and proceeded to make the bed. We can disputed the resort fee because the pool was closed, and they argued with us at the front desk. Eventually, we did receive a message from the manager that they were refunding the fee And then one time we went to the pool it was freezing, Also the breakfast was subpar. If you want location tand to stay in a historic building, this is for you but don’t expect too much more.

I absolutely loved the Bourbon Orleans Hotel! It was the perfect location, the hotel was a bit removed from the business of Bourbon Street, so it was quiet, the pool area was beautiful, and the staff was amazing! I would 10/10 recommended this hotel to anyone wishing for recommendations of where to stay in New Orleans. Not to mention it was a location of where they filmed Your Honor with Bryan Cranston!!!
