I mean... it could be worse. Not bad.
It is downtown, in the middle of everything. Parking is limited in the rear of the hotel- I really didn't care for that. You have to place a parking placard in the vehicle.
The hotel is "older" and still has "older" furnishings. I got hooked up with a balcony, but there really wasn't much of a view.
No pool (not that I was trying to swim) and breakfast didn't start until 7am. I had to leave the hotel at 6am. Plus they didn't have coffee in the lobby. If the hotel is going to be named "Chateau" of anything, I expect already made coffee in the lobby.
The room was ok. It wasn't necessarily dirty and smelled of dollar store disinfectant. I could tell it was cleaned- no doubt- but I wanted my room to smell of sweet magnolias or something.
Front desk workers were great- no problems. Wifi was fast enough to enjoy my Netflix shows at night.
The stay and overall experience wasn't bad. I was just expecting a little more than what I had gotten given the price I paid and compared to the other hotels in the area.
