This is probably the most family-friendly hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Many young couples with babies; tons of kids up to about 7 years old. They have lots of toys, books (in Japanese), and even special suites for those ages.

今年2回目の宿泊、メルキュール自体はエクスペディア(バイタリティ特典の4割引)経由で今年4回目。 不評だった歯磨きセットは、日本の一般的な物に変更されてた。 レストランの浴衣の袖止めゴムは、相変わらず無かったので用意して欲しい。氷の持ち帰りが自由に出来る様にして欲しい。 ラウンジのフリードリンク…おつまみ のナッツが無くなってた。復活して欲しい。朝食に納豆は欲しいな。

15時10分頃ホテルに着いたが、フロントが2名しかおらず、行列ができていた。ネットで事前チェックインしていたがメリットを感じない。電話番号の桁数がおかしいと指摘されたが、事前チェックインのシステムでは電話番号の桁数が間違と登録できないので違和感があった。 事前に聞いていなかった入湯税150円の支払いをしたが、温泉には入らなかった。 部屋風呂に入ったが、湯船に浸かってからバスルーム内にタオルがないことに気づき、ビショビショの体でバスタオルを捜しに行った。 アメニティの歯ブラシとか櫛もバスルームになく、1階のアメニティ・バーに行った。 ラウンジでは飲み物を提供していたが、ワインを紙コップで飲むような高級感のなさにビックリした。 赤ワインをワインクーラーで冷やして提供しているのにも驚いた。 ロビーの外は殺風景なのでライトアップするようなサービスがあっても良かったのではと思います。 レストランは夕食も朝食も良かったです。食事だけはリピートしてもいいと思いました。

お部屋が広々していて、窓から見える山々の遠景が素晴らしかったです。食事はどのメニューも美味しく満足しています。ほぼ満室とのことでしたが、レストラン座席予約ができたため、会場で待つことはありませんでした。お子様が多いことを承知の上で時間帯を考慮して施設利用するとより楽しめるかと思います。ただ大勢のお客様でスタッフの皆さんは本当に大変だろうなと思いました。お世話になりありがとうございました。
