I like that this property is still as nice as it was before when I came and stayed here a couple of years ago. I also noticed that it has been upgraded or renovated to still look just as nice.

RIU Paradise Island was a very nice all inclusive adults only resort. Although it could use some maintenance, it was very clean and the food was delicious! Small resort feel with friendly staff. They were always very helpful. I would go back again if traveling to the Bahamas again.

I came here for a quick girls trip away. Overall our stay here was okay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing I was extremely disappointed with was the system to reserve seating for dinner. We could not get a dinner reservation any night of our stay. We decided to have dinner off the resort, not a huge deal but it defeats the purpose of paying for all-inclusive. My friend also had trouble with reserving service at the spa, she booked a time slot on the app then received notification the day of that the time she wanted actually wasn’t available and they couldnt service her until hours later. Overall great hotel. Food was wonderful, and choices nice. staff nice and helpful. Fact that pool bar closed at 6pm is way to early. 8pm would be better. That left only 1 small crowded bar. There was no gift shop.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was fabulous and very accommodating. I have a gluten allergy and the chef worked with me and my menu. The weather was a bit cooler, windy and 70’s, but the pool was heated so that was nice. The one complaint we had is that the rooms were freezing and they only put one blanket on the bed and the blanket is not of good quality. Having read about this in other reviews, I packed a small blanket so that helped. Overall, it was a very good experience!

The pool was nice. The mini bar was terrible for two people and you could only have 2 coke per day is stupid. That is all we use no beer, no soda water, Also our coffee was not filled everyday and had to ask several times for coffee and soda for the both room that I had. Stephanie Massarelli

Everything was very clean and the staff were incredible! The hotel/resort property was small compared to other all inclusive resorts I have stayed at in places like Turks & Caicos, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. There is nowhere to walk around on the resort but the area is safe enough to walk to small shops nearby. I also felt like the pools were small but seemed appropriate for the size of the hotel/resort. My wife and I absolutely loved our time in the Bahamas and we would certainly consider another RIU resort property in other locations. It just felt like this property was squeezed onto a small lot. The food at the Japanese restaurant was by far the best food we had and we wished we had eaten there a second time. The other restaurants were decent but nothing spectacular. Overall, it was a positive experience and the RIU staff were absolutely incredible to work with.

Expedia rates this resort as a 5 Star hotel, at best it’s a 2.5 Star if one should be in a generous mood! The resort is run down, rooms are equipped with banged up furniture, dirty curtains and the list goes on…. Should you be looking for a true 5 star hotel the Baha Mar Rosewood Resort is the spot to be! Unfortunately for me this trip ended with an early check out and no refund. Live and learn is what I always say…..
