Excellent for the price

Great hotel close to Nashville zoo. They are in the middle of renovations so it's a little dusty but the new room is absolutely beautiful. Spacious, nice bed and beautiful bathroom and shower.

★☆☆☆☆ DO NOT STAY HERE. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We booked a room at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Nashville South and didn’t even end up staying the night. The place was disgusting and completely unkept. We were shown FOUR different rooms — every single one was unacceptable. One reeked of cigarette smoke, another had dead bugs, and others had nasty stains all over the bedding. Absolutely filthy. On top of that, the hotel is under construction, which we weren’t warned about, and the pool was green — completely unusable and clearly neglected. When we decided to leave and asked for a refund, the front desk just shrugged and told us to call Expedia. Still waiting on my refund, by the way. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT STAY HERE. Spend your money literally anywhere else.

This property was nothing like what was pictured online. It was dirty, musty smelling, bed was old and worn out, paint was missing on the walls, chairs had obvious signs of wear, and damage, the shower and tub were awful and the front of my room flooded when it rained. They would not refund my money, even with the condition the room was in. If I could have found another place to stay I would have, I was actually afraid for my safety staying there. I do have pictures of what the room actually looked like versus what the online pictures that are on Expedia. I'd love for Expedia to contact me about this place.

This property is undergoing a renovation which we knew upon booking. However, the rooms were so filthy, they should not be rented until they are properly cleaned and disinfected. There were dirty handprints on the closets and walls, a thick layer of grime behind the beds, mold in the bathroom, broken furniture. We moved rooms for our second night and the room was still dirty and the bathroom had a dead cockroach in it. The website indicated the pool would be available May 1, it was not and was filled with green algae and construction debris. When we got home, we contacted Expedia, they reached out to the manager and they didn't care about our experience.

Hello, The front desk staff was not friendly at all. When we walked into the room the very strong stench of urine hit us in the face. Honestly, it was as strong as cat pee. The carpeting had big stains on it. Everything felt coated by a layer of grease. The headboard had oily hand and face prints on it. This room was so disgusting that we immediately waled out and asked for a full refund. It was horrendous.

YIKES!!

Hotel under major renovation and it’s a mess!! The staff, in general, were pleasant… but the manager is rude and completely inhospitable. I had extended my stay for several additional days and paid online, but awoke at 11am the day of the extension to have the manager violently banging on my door, then letting himself in, demanding that I come to the office to re-check in. I’ve never ever been treated so rudely in ANY type of hotel around the world.

Hi there! This hotel is awful! Possibly the worst place I've ever been! The room was dirty, (hair on pillow), debris all over the property, furniture blocking the hallway, broken fixtures in the room. Never seen anything like it. Photos attached. I did not stay here, we left and booked another hotel.

The staff was very friendly. I came up for a concert and it had been postponed which I didn't know. The attendant at the front counter informed me that it had been postponed which I didn't even receive anything from the ticket company. That's really good customer service. He was very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this motel to anyone. Very good job.

The hotel appears to be renovating but the room I stayed at was clearly still in need of a refreshment. Pretty much every item or surface had damage. From the door of the room to the carpet and walls. Furniture and linens were not spared either. Not horrible but was a tad dingy feel. The breakfast and lobby area were lovely.

Roaches!

Roaches were immediately visible in the room with several dead in the sink. We left the property and were promised a refund by the desk staff but hotels.com has been unable to secure it after 4 days of trying. We will proceed with bodycam footage of the roaches and La Quinta staff promising a refund if it is not received
