This was our second time staying at the grand Hotel Parker. We would go back again in a heartbeat. The hotel is gorgeous and isn’t a great location.

Definitely not a 5-star property
While this hotel may have been a 5-star property years ago, it doesn’t certainly qualify for that star rating now. The hotel is very aged and needs major renovations to the rooms for the premium rates that are charged. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.

We loved our room and we could not believe our breakfast! It was amazing. We had omelettes cheese and ham. There was amazing croissants, cappuccino or hot tea. Everything about this place was wonderful!

The beautiful, old, stately property is very grand. But the bathrooms are in severe need of an upgrade. Screws in the walls where robe hooks used to be, not a shelf or tub rim to place shower products, any other amenity such as irons, need to be called down to be brought up. The bellhop and front door staff were scarce or non-existent.

The property is well-kept, with modern features interwoven with luxury Italian charm. The views are incredible. The level of hospitality is outstanding. The service makes up for the typical plumbing issues in any old-world building. We were able to reserve a table at George, their 2-star Michelin restaurant. We went with one of three tasting menus, but if I did it again, I would choose a la carte, which is also an option. The room was beautiful, the bed sublime, and the sheets and towels all luxury. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
