Position in town great. Staff were helpful. Misleading promotion of swimming pool which was small and uninviting. Unit was clean but decor was old and in need of upgrade especially bathroom.

We stayed here years ago and it was good. Great location on Marine Parade. Unfortunately it is now in a dilapidated and dirty state. (We stayed on first floor in room 12). The toilet didn’t flush properly the toilet seat was cheap plastic and pitted. The decor and paintwork was chipped and dingy. The curtains falling off the track. Dust everywhere. The outside plunge pool was green and looked mouldy. The manager hid from us and other guests who were trying to get a refund. Awful don’t stay here.

Had a great night at Edgewater motel in a Superior Studio Unit. It was a really decent size for what it had - have stayed in much smaller places that still have the sofa bed and a smaller queen crammed in. Having the balcony was great, although we didn't use it much, we were able to dry our swimming stuff after spending the day at Splash Planet! Easy walk to the restaurants and across the road from the ocean, with all the various entertainments offered down Marine Parade. Bed was really comfortable which is always a bonus. The kitchen space wasn't used by us, but was spacious and had everything you need. Would recommend.

Very nice place to stay with the kids. The 2 storey unit has lots of space and with two bathrooms there are no arguments. :-) We found the unit clean and tidy, with everything we needed for basic cooking available in the kitchen. You can walk to pretty much any place on the waterfront within 5-10 mins. Not too noisy, being on the top floor, and with a nice view of the waterfront. We will definitely stay again!

Was comfortable bed and room was a great size. The couches were broken and big sag in the middle so not very comfortable and 2 of the 4 dinning chairs were slightly broken so had to sit on them carefully.

The Motel was extremely handy to the main centre of town. Loved the outlook to the sea ans along Marine Parade. Beautiful walk along the parade in both directions

We liked everything about Edgewater Motor Lodge. Every room has a waterfront view. Lying on your bed and see the ocean out the window. Beautiful. We were in unit 6, very private. Safe parking.

A lovely outlook over the sea (perfect for a superb sunrise), spacious and comfortable. Parking on-site was ideal. Room maybe a little tired, but perfectly functional. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
