The Taber Inn stressed that their rooms are sound proof. It is listed under every picture they post on Expedia. However, it certainly is NOT. I heard conversations of the people above me and next to me. Also, housekeeping was vacuuming the hallway at 9:00 am and woke us up. Also, they must not vacuum the actual rooms before new guests arrive because there were random long grey hairs on the carpet and I don’t have grey hair. Gross.

Location was good so we could walk around the drawbridge part of Mystic but also have an easy time and and out with less traffic. Drive to the aquarium was just a couple of minutes. Motel itself is fine. It was nothing fancy but it was a top notch 3-star hotel.

I had the most amazing 3 night stay and would recommend to anyone visiting. The room was wonderful and pool facilities/jacuzzi were amazing. The staff were lovely and really attentive.

Great location and friendly staff! Room was exactly as described with jacuzzi tub and fireplace! We were suprised to find that no microwave or refrigerator in the room. The continental breakfast being delivered to the room is a great service but they don’t offer it until 8am so if you are an early riser you have to go out and get coffee as there is none available otherwise. Bed was comfy.

Quaint, good location, though it is a older property it was new and clean and felt like a brand new property. Enjoyed that fact that it was unique in both room layout, and furnishings. I'd definitely stay there again, either on business or with family! It made my trip to Mystic, CT extra special.

This vacation spot was amazing. We enjoyed the bed and breakfast feel with the updated decor and very comfy beds. The indoor pool looked fantastic didn't have time to take a dip was to busy enjoying the downtown shopping and restaurants and The Village of Mystic and all the shopping ! The staff made us feel so welcomed with the complementary roomservice breakfast with just a text was a great touch !
