The place was horrible, when we got there it looked shady. Then before we could even let them know that we wasn’t staying there the man at the so called office told us that we didn’t even have a room to stay in and he was refunding our money, well I still haven’t seen it yet so I will be contacting someone else about this place. This use to be a beautiful place years ago and now I wouldn’t even let my pets stay there. I do not recommend anyone to stay there . And shame on Hotels.com for even posting this place on their website and all the other websites as well. I don’t understand why they can even post this place.
Do not book this property! They are catfish. Nothing like the pictures, they literally took pictures from surrounding facilities and posted them as theirs. I had to get another room due to the room not having AC, tv not working, balcony door didn’t open when I got there. THEN, Got another room guy didn’t even know it was people in the room he tried to give us. Couldn’t swim in the pool, it was dirty anyway, overall. It was a disaster and disappointing. Smh FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Don’t waste your money.
It was awful!!! No towels, tv didn’t work, pools were closed, dirty wash clothes in the tub, creamer in the coffee pot. Ac didn’t work, mini fridge didn’t work and we had to pay $27 for parking because the parking lot was under construction. It was reported and nothing was done.
Worst experience, falsified pictures, staff was unprofessional, nothing worked ,electricity,water the pools weren’t filled it wasn’t sanitary I’m a small bowel transplant patient it was so unhygienic that if I stayed I would have gotten sick
The name of the hotel wasn't what I booked, It was called Sea Mist. At least 3 buildings none connected so it was a back and forth thing. Going to our room there was a dirty pair of underwear thrown down on the steps. It got worse from there. We went back to the reception desk and asked for a refund. They stated they had requested one. My wife called Hotels.Com to verify. They had not done so. She filed for a refund, Three days later we get a message from Hotels.com stating they could not get in touch with them, therefore, no refund. One number is in New York - it disconnects and the other's mailbox is full. Avoid this place like the plague!
Gave me a room with no bed... now i am fighting to get my refund... already been a week an i am being told that they havent came to a decision yet.... ppl in front of me had bed bugs head borad broke tv not working was suppose to be down there for country music fest that i had to miss out on due to not getting refunded...
There is no such place! Looked for hours to be told to try the Sea Mist. Slum Lord- this company owns many run down buildings. The sea mist is actually central office. People who did not pay more than $1 to reserve were sent away. Room had No hot water, toilet paper, towels, blankets, tv, or WiFi. No one answers the phone. Bait and switch room from queen beds to full beds and I paid extra for the pull out couch that was not there. Double booked our room so someone with a key walked in on my son. That’s dangerous! And it happened to several other guests as well.
This review is mainly for Experian. The resort that they have listed or that they have allowed to be listed on their website does not actually exist. I booked this for my family because we were coming down for an event for my nephew. The hotel listed does not even exist in the address that’s listed under the hotel takes you to another completely different hotel called sea mist.. which have rooms and set up not when I paid for. I don’t understand how there is no filter for experience to check and make sure that the hotels that are listed our actual hotels and listings that are true to what they are.. needless to say my family and I did not even have a room while experiencing did give us our refund back. I would’ve preferred to stay in a room. My family and I had to sleep in the car. When I spoke to the representative of experience, they two seemed baffled that the hotel was a hotel that didn’t existed in the hotel that it routed me to canceled my reservation due to “unforeseen circumstances” when I asked them why was I not notified that my reservation was canceled they said that Experian should have notified me and if I didn’t get one then that means my email must have “gotten stuck somewhere” their exact words. I spoke to two different representatives for Experian. The second Rep was supposedly management or supervisor. They tried to accommodate me by having me pay more than double for a room than what I originally paid for. To to which I declined. There is more.
Booked a room with this hotel and when we arrived they did not have a room for us. Said that they overbooked we had to find a room in Myrtle beach on the fly. Very disappointing will not ever book a room here again.
The property was overbooked. It was very rundown and dirty. We were given a room that was not what we had booked. The elevator had trash in it as did all the walkways. It smelled of Marijuana and you could hear people arguing loudly in the rooms around the one we were assigned. FeltVERY unsafe!! The checkin office was hot as the air conditioning mest have been broken and the entrance door handle was missing.
i paid for a stay a day before check in . they took my money . once i arrived to the hotel the front desk manager said he would have to refund me because he let someone else get the room and i still haven’t received my refund and it’s been 3 days now . me and family drove 4 hours away . very very disappointing because how you give someone else a room that somebody else have and got a confirmation for the room . that logic don’t add up . please shut this hotel down cause it was numerous of families that gotten turned around and you never know nobody situation . it could’ve been folks last couple of dollars . then false advertisement at a all time high frfr

It was not as advertised. Pools didn’t work. Facilities name was not name advertised. Hard to find. Facilities were disgusting and unfriendly. Ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

Place was ran down very badly. The pool or lazy river has not operated in a long time. My group of people and about 20 others if not more was standing in lobby and all got turned away, even though we made our book 2 days beforehand, trying to say that it was canceled but yet when we all walked out, somebody overheard them saying that they just didn’t have anyone to clean their rooms. They were rude so me and my family had to find a place last minute after driving seven hours and the place looks absolutely awful and disgusting.
This place is horrible, the least we can say. Please don’t book it. All false advertising.
I booked building A which was higher in price but they gave me room in building B and front desk closed and no one to talk after.
Room is smelly and moldy. Dust everywhere, no soap in the bathroom, no tissues, no shower curtains in bathroom. AC Barely working. elevator is not working, pools and amenities have nothing to do with the pictures they advertised. Plus pools were closed and not clean. No front desk, no one to ask for anything. Extension cord wasn’t a safe idea. Flies in the room.
This was a scam hotel. The sight didnt exist. Spent two hours fighting with expedia to get a refund that would take 7 to 10 business days to get. I am not nervous amd wondering how.many scam hotels have now infiltrated the expedia site.
