My booking was switched to another hotel 2 miles away without reason proper reason provided. At the Grand Beach Resort I had to park off premises due to both parking garages full by 11pm. Only one elevator in service. I had booked king room after the switch I was given room with 2 full beds. The room was clean, view of ocean but small bed. Front desk staff was helpful.
Overall good for the price. Can see it being very loud in season. Nothing much to offer other than a room. Which was fine bed was comfortable shower was good. Clean rooms

Horrible experience - terrible customer service.
Horrible time, made a reservation on line - they accepted my money and sent me a confirmation. They lied. The place is not even open this time of year. I waited hours because you cannot check in until 4:00. No one shows, no one is there, called - no one answers. The cleaning staff directed me to the hotel owners who were the most helpless people I have dealt with, they told me this was my fault and that I needed to call the owners directly and can never trust hotels.com. They took my money and will not give it back. Do not stay here ever is my recommendation, they waste time, money and mostly just make you mad by never resolving the issue - just blame the customer for using a third party site. Terrible experience. They even sent me pre check in paperwork to confirm the reservation. Requested copies of my ID. Hope they are not scamming me in a worse way too. dont get scammed by them too - stay far away from this place is my recommendation.

Good - very clean. Comfortable bed. Hot shower with good water pressure. Friendly staff. Bad - no staff onsite..managed by another company about 8 min away from hotel. No ice machine, exterior Door has a large gap.. No weather stripping and you can see the pavement from inside. Perhaps a dangerous situation, as a thief could break in easily, despite the bolt lock. We did ot encounter any danger.

Never got to go then because i got the room that day couldn't get a refund so you know i didn't check in why you asking me how it went
Althought my reservation was at the fifth and ocean i get a message through expedia telling me i have to pick my key up feom Grande ocean resort. Only to then find out thats where im staying. And i was told this at the very last minute. GRANDE OCEAN RESORT was not even in my top of choices when trying to find a location. I was not pleased with expedia for this
Close to attractions and restaurants. Hotel room was nice but beds were extremely low, hotel pool and exterior were in need of maintenance and parking was convenient but somehow too tight for me.
If it wasn't for the sheer good fortune of the 5th & Ocean Venezuelan cleaner walking by, my 10 & 11 year old sons and I would have been left to sleep on the street. The hotel was closed. We had prepaid a week before through Expedia and it was closed. No one had notified us we had been changed to another hotel. We were told a lady named Simone had called us but it wasn't true. No message, no email, nothing. An empty parking lot and locked office is what we arrived to at 6:15pm. Thank Goodness for the Cleaner (and that I spoke a rudimentary Spanish).
Picture was confusing and I thought this was the hotel on the beach but it’s across the street. Very friendly people, rooms were clean and it was easy to walk where we wanted. 4/5 I’d stay again.
I was awakened a few times a night from yelling outside the door. One night there was a fight right by my room. It’s a shame because overall the room was very nice and the bed was awesome. It has a Starbuck’s right across the street that all the people from surrounding hotels walked to through the parking lot.
The front desk person was amazing. Very friendly. The room was neely renovated and clean. But the entry door of rlthe room had huge gaps, let in all the light, sound and air. The door seemed like it may be unsafe. And with the gaps being that big, the noise from unruley person in parking lot kep me up all night.
I visited this establishment with the intention of staying there however, the first room that was provided to me had a smell that was so intolerable my eyes immediately were tearing and then my nose burned from the stench of whatever it was. I then asked for a new room and the young lady at the front desk then showed me to another room which she could not seem to get the door to lock so therefore that room was not available. I was then shown to a third room. Once I began to get settle I went into the restroom where 2 cockaroches were scurrying from behind the toilet. This is absolutely unacceptable and a disgrace. The cleanliness of this hotel is beyond acceptable. Immediately went to the front desk and asked for a refund
When we checked in the initial room was not cleaned at all… however, when I confronted the desk worker about the issue she immediately locked up and came to check out my observation. We were then given a new and clean room. The worker was very kind, concerned, apologetic and did fix our issue. She took pictures of the dirty room and handled everything very professionally.
The room was very nice, very clean. Only gave an overall review of a 3 is because we could not watch TV because of their internet and there was no heat in our room. But the staff was very nice and gave us extra blankets.
