There was construction that wasn’t disclosed upon booking. Air conditioner in the room didn’t work, ice machines didn’t work, couldn’t get in contact with staff when needed. Unable to locate anything on the premises, elevators only worked sometimes in the suites building. Smell of urine throughout the halls.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dayton house in Myrtle beach. There’s tons to do in a walkable distance. Beach access was amazing. Hotel was clean and staff was great. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone headed to Myrtle beach!

While the staff were very personable and took care of the issues I experienced there were several areas of concern. They computer system was down and there was great confusion in where my ten guests (6 rooms) were to be assigned even though I called several times confirming the information since I would not be there when they checked in. We had to rearrange rooms late at night, waking everyone up. The door cards stopped working several times and had to be reprogrammed making people not able to get up the elevator or into their rooms and guests having to walk a good distance to get them reprogrammed. The staff was very personable and handled everything graciously. The construction between buildings was significant and there was constant activity with large machines and such which were right outside the balconies. It also limited beach access and movement between amenities. Otherwise, we enjoyed the amenities such as pool, hot tubs, sunning area and beachfront. Will definitely try again after the major construction project is finished with.

I loved everything about this place! I can’t complain about anything. I could see the beach. I could see the sky. There’s so much to do and several building to do it in. Multiple pools and hot tubs was enough for me. The one building had a ping pong table. There was cornhole boards.

The staff was great! Very friendly and informative. We would have liked our room straightened up staying five days but hotels don't seem to do that anymore no matter where you stay. The hot buffet breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful! If we visit Myrtle Beach again, we will certainly stay at the Dayton House Resort again!

This may have been my worse stay at myrtle beach. This property was dated, dirty and understaffed. My fanily and i was there for nearly a week and no one changed my linens or bedding. The lights were broken, balcony door didn't open, and the bed skirt was stained with what looked like blood. The carpet throughout the property was dirty and looked they have never been cleaned ever. Not to mention the carpet in my room, walking without shoes left my white socks black. This place needs some major updates and until then 10 out of 10 i dont recommend
