Visited this resort for a relaxing 3 day trip with my Fiance. It was EVERYTHING but relaxing. The room STINK. Dirty, dingy, old carpet and furniture. The shower water was barely warm. There was construction being done on the floor of the room we were assigned. Noise started at 8 a.m. and last until 5. Alllll dayyy noise. Left the resort and booked elsewhere. I guess you get what you pay for.

I booked 2 nights at Caribbean oceanfront. We show up and they put us i. crappy little hotel with 3 floors that was dirty and hot water didn’t work and for sure we did no have ocean view. Spike at their reception desk very rude and unwilling to listen. I spoke to manage next morning and they said they changed rooms so I figured I would be in the pretty blue big hotel instead of roach motel. Instead she just moved me to oceanfront same crappy hotel. They blamed it on Expedia booking wrong. Super upset.

Not a pleasureable stay to be called a resort.
Hotel was under construction, we found that out once we got there (Too late to cancel).they did tell is work stops faily around 4pm but failed to tell us they start litetally jack hammering at 8am in the room above ours. We literally had pieces of ceiling debris fall on our face while getting woken by the noise and debris.our toulet was leaking around the seal on the floor. And out tub would not drain correctly. This resort was notified ahead of time that i would be leaving a review to ensure a room with no issues. Our fridge had a rust spot and the main door had paint peeled from the interior. The elevators must also be getting a facelift cause the were showing it.

Id suggest a stay in the 2 bedroom condos only. The other towers, ie: Dominican, are like motel rooms. Door opens directly to sleeping area. Beds are literally 4 ft or less from doors and windows. Horrible floor plan for families with young children. The staff was kind and courtesy but could (or would) not offer me any suggestions for other hotels that fit my needs. There was construction going on as well so aesthetic value was lost

It was cozy and comfy in the Jamaican side.
I was given a choice of rooms and I said I didn't care other than wanting a room that was in a quiet spot. Boy did they deliver! We saw many people around outside of our room but never heard them and it was a quiet spot on the road. Our toilet was running when we got there and reported it just so it didn't come back on us but wasn't a problem at all. My only gripe which is minimal is the mildewy smell when running water. I think their pipes and all could probably use some sprucing up but again, nothing that impeded on the stay.
