It’s a beautiful place, our room was quite lovely (once we found it) and all the soaking tubs were quite enjoyable. But…
The check-in process was the WORST I have ever experienced. When we arrived there were a few people ahead of us to check-in and the lobby quickly filled up with over 8-9 groups checking in. There was one person handling check-ins and it did eventually jump to 3 people and we had the luck of landing with a very new employee who was constantly waiting on the help of the other two to get her through our check-in. It took us AN HOUR in that lobby- meanwhile we had two young kids in the car absolutely falling apart. We also had plans that evening and were very disappointed to lose an hour of potential soaking time to get checked in.
Once we finally received our wrist bands and room number and drove in and out gates to our building… the sign in the building included every room number except ours. We were going in circles until we realized the sign was just WRONG and our room was right there just somehow had been skipped on the signs that tell you which direction to go!
I’ve been meaning to check my CC to see how much they charged me because they also told me the charge would change because we added on our kids, but we’re never given any information as to how much that add-on cost us. We also asked for a late check-out — you’d think after the horrible check-in experience that this request would be an easy yes but we were given a flat NO.
