The area around the hotel is safe but may appear as if it isn’t. Very convenient to the main train station (HBF). Breakfast is expensive for what you get. Staff were great.

Very nicely located. You can walk to/from central station in ~5 minutes or be at Marienplatz in ~15 minutes. Hotel was clean and check in was easy. Our room was thankfully very quiet. Breakfast buffet was ~€19 per person but it met all of our needs and we were not disappointed. You can also store your luggage which was super helpful. Would stay here again!!

Great stay in a great location
We had a great stay at the kings hotel, can highly recommend. It's in a great location to get to the main places, old town and the main attractions. The room was nice and we had really good breakfast. Can't speak highly enough of Richard on the front desk, he checked us in on the first day and was so helpful and friendly. The property is only a short walk from the train station, we got the S Bhann in from the airport, so we found it ideal.

From the moment we entered the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. It made us really feel at home. Richard Winkler at reception was fantastic and I wish every hotel had someone like him to greet people! He was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us enjoy Munich even more. The hotel has a very good incentive to stay environmentally friendly by providing a 10 Euro voucher (as of the time of writing) instead of getting housekeeping. I believe it was per night (we only stayed 2 nights so not entirely sure whether was applicable per night stay). I stayed in a comfort twin room with 2 single beds. The room was probably a bit too small for 2 people but we managed, the same can be said of the bathroom. The drinks in the mini-bar were free and contained alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. You can get free coffee and tea by the reception area and they were of a good quality. The breakfast area was of a decent size and had large desks to accommodate groups. During my time there, not many people were around, so I cannot say how it would be like if lots of visitors were around. The food options were not the best for vegetarians but sufficient for non-veggies. King’s Hotel is a 5–6-minute walk from the main Munich station, so is very conveniently located. All the main sites are within walking distance and easy to get to. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and a special shout out for Richard Winkler who was brilliant.

Ideal for 5 night break in Munich
Nice hotel in a very central location. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The rooms were small but clean and fine for a 5 night stay. The beds were comfortable, we couldn't hear any noise from outside despite being close to the train station. Breakfast had a reasonable range, plenty of choice. Rooms were cleaned daily although we chose to forego this twice in exchange for a €10 voucher to exchange for drinks at the bar. Drinks at the bar were reasonably priced. I'd look to stay here again.

Prime location is a huge plus. Staff are super friendly. Loved the garden as it added a nice ambiance to the place. Nice breakfast and very reasonably priced for what you get.
