Our whole group were very satisfied for everything at hotel Obermaier, check in was excellent with welcome drinks, we loved breakfast buffet. Bus stop just in front of the hotel, convenient, quiet place.

Quaint yet very modern and cozy. Our room was newly renovated, nicely done and large. The breakfast buffet was amazing in its variety. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The neighbourhood had a small town feel with nice shops and the U-Bahn and S-Bahn were nearby. Great location, great hotel.

We stayed with our adult children at the Hotel Obermaier during Octoberfest. It was all that we had hoped for. It is a traditional hotel with a good restaurant attached. It is convenient by Metro to downtown Munich. It is much more reasonably priced than closer-in hotels. Our room and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast was unbelievably generous and delicious. We will definitely stay at the Hotel Obermaier if we are fortunate enough to return to Munich, particularly during Octoberfest.

Me and my friends were all satisfied about the staff, breakfast buffet and as I requested the typical bavarian breakfast with Weiss Wurst, Bier and Brezeln was excellent, all of my friends were amazed. The rooms were nice , and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel, easy to go everywhere using public transportation. I'm glad that I chose this hotel all my were happy.

We visiting during Oktoberfest and arrived the night the staff was a bit short handed. The staff were pleasant and friendly. We stayed in a secondary building and it was starting to show some wear. No air conditioning, would have been nice the nights we were there.

Clean modern hotel within a 5 minute walk to the nearest S-bahn station with direct links into central Munich. Superb breakfast with a complete range on continental options. 24-hour coffee area and bar on-site with lots of nearby restaurants around the hotel. Chose a sleeps 4-5 room which was possible, but the room was open plan with a mezzanine level for the 2 single beds. I would suggest that you do check out the layout.

I thought the hotel was closer to the older part of the city but it was a 20-30 minute subway ride. Still easily accessible as long as your are mobile. Love the quaint hotel and the little town surrounding the hotel. Enjoyed some great asian fusion food one night. Stayed 2 evenings and enjoyed the WONDERFUL Breakfast (make sure you go down to the lower level where there is more food other than the breads on the top floor). It was quite aways from the airport and a $109 uber ride but would stay here again. Staff were GREAT !!

Lovely hotel, nice design and interesting details. Good options for breakfast, and nice staff. Quiet enough, but still people around. A little bit of a trek from town, but as we knew it would be. Quite a few shops and things locally, and a nice pub with garden. Would have prefered proper aircon (was told it was not full aircon, hence room not cooling adequately - more like a climate control? Or blower?). Has Wifi, and everything you need in the room. Loved the skylight in the room, with the closeable blind. Overall, very lovely- and we enjoyed it.

Good but had to pay to upgrade due to v hot room
The hotel itself is lovely, clean, breakfast is great. I stayed for the Adele concert and the location was great for that. The area is nice and a short walk to Riemer Park. The downside was my room (504 in the old building) was extremely hot and not habitable. I would not have got any sleep and felt ill being in there. There was a fan which did nothing but blow hot air at me. It wasnt even a really hot day. I dread to think what it's like in a heatwave. They offered me an upgrade for 30 euros a night. I took the room just to ensure my trip wasnt spoiled. The new room in new building was lovely, cool and i couldn’t fault anything. But I do begrudge having to pay extra through no fault of my own.
