Night i checked in , there was a problem with the digital keys. My key didnt work, at all. Had to go to the desk 4 times, after the third time i was yelled at by a rude desk agent that my key should work. Another staff member came with me to my room to see that the key wasnt working, at all. Couldnt even use the elevators. When you land late in the evening and you only want to use your room, thats not fun. Also, the pillows are horrible, way too soft, not worth the price at all.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel. The foyer area was so impressive and beautiful. We really couldn’t believe we were at an airport. There was literally zero noise in the room and surrounding areas. The view from the window was of beautiful topiary gardens, a huge surprise considering this is prime land that could have easily been turned over to car parking as in the case of most airports. Staff were very friendly and attentive and the speedy check out drop box was a great idea as the front desk was quite busy. The room itself was stunning and modern with little touches such as automatic night lights at floor level that came on with movement sensors. A really nice touch was the bathroom mirror; the centre of it was designed so it didn’t steam up. Very well thought out. That’s German engineering for you! The walk in waterfall (and hand held shower in one) was the best I have ever had. Beds were very comfortable and roomy. The complimentary water was very welcome as was the tea and coffee, all presented on beautiful crockery. We had a great meal at the main bar and soaked up the atmosphere. There was really no need to go anywhere else. The music there was chilled and the whole evening very enjoyable. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You get what you pay for and this was top tier.

The pool was closed, but I did not get a notice that it was closed on my day of travel. There is an executive line at check-in. I am not an executive, but I still had to pay $150 per night to be treated like second class. Hilton is overrated, and I will never stay there again!
