My bathroom was DISGUSTING. Pubic hair in the showers, slime mold, disgusting stains all over the shower. 12 hours of driving and that’s what I got to take my family up to. Complained at the front desk and was told “sorry can’t comp your room”.

I stayed here to get off the road due to weather conditions and construction making it unsafe to continue my drive home to Indiana, I was coming from San Antonio. The elevator button was broken as was one of the elevators. The room I was in on the 5th floor was absolutely dirty. There were still tweezers under the sink from previous guest. I always do a bed check and there was broken glass between the mattress and headboard, and underneath the mattress, the bedding itself was dirty the furniture in there, nightstands and dressers look like they haven’t been wiped down ever. I was extremely tired and just wanted to sleep. I laid down a hoodie I had and kept the clothing I was wearing on and laid on top of the bedding. The area where the breakfast was held was extremely dirty and the table the lady took me to hadn’t been wiped down. I told her I was going to see what they had and when I walked back to the “buffet” it was a disaster and everything was pretty much empty. She said they would be filling it again. I just went to the desk and checked out and let the desk person know about the room and the breakfast and he said most the people checking out had said the same thing about the dining and the area, he was friendly as was I, it wasn’t his fault but wanted to inform him. I’ve stayed at these hotels in others areas many times before and have never been disappointed. This was by far the worst I’ve ever seen, I would have rather pulled into a truck stop and slept in my car.

Meh, there’s better in town
Once past the lobby every hallway smelled like weed. The AC in my room was broken. I went to front desk to bring both to their attention. They were very kind and prompt to attempt to accommodate and remedy. Moved to another room, AC worked but it smelled like weed (not as bad as hallway) and hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Thick layer of dust on every surface. I was expecting better with it being an IHG venue.

First when we arrived the desk clerk was short and we had to ask about amenities such as food, went to our room and it was a queen size bed but you could tell it used to have a king bed. We called down to the front desk and they said they couldn’t do anything about it since we went through Expedia which I understand. The door to our patio had a broken lock so no way to secure it. The shower didn’t have soap in the dispensers. Elevator buttons took numerous attempts to make them work. Not sure why but I left the room the next morning completely stuffed up! Worst stay ever!

I was very impressed by the DoubleTree by Hilton. It is a beautiful hotel, I loved the modern fixtures in our room, and it was very clean. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and it made a perfect ending to our day! Thanks for keeping the pool open until 11:00 p.m.! Most hotels don’t! ❤️

Leftover food was still in the room refrigerator. Used glasses, partially filled or left sitting on the dresser shelf. Used coffee filters were still in the room small machine. Made me wonder just what else was not cleaned and sanitized before the room was made available. Very disappointed Overall. Only one of the two elevators was operating. Caused definite delays for those of us on the upper floors.
