Cocusa is my go to, 1 night only motel. I use it as I travel to San Juan Islands. You get what you pay for. It’s clean, decent bed and linens, hot shower. There if a front and back door, so you can air out the aging room smell. The cabinets in the suite are coming apart at the seams but they function. Suite gives you much more space and large kitchenette. Staff is always friendly. Breakfast is packaged breakfast snacks. For the money this motel is a good value for 1 night while traveling through town.

The courtyard had beautiful flowers. The room was big with a balcony. Nearby was a very good supermarket and deli, good restaurants, a drug store, and reasonably priced gasoline.

The property was somewhat clean. The hot water valve in the shower did not work. The people cleaning this facility should have been aware of this this room should have never been rented. The person at the office counter didn't seem to be that concerned about it nor did they offer me any kind of a refund they just said they would late let their maintenance person know. I said I would leave a bad review on Expedia
