The view from your window is the real gem of this place. The lobby area is super cozy, the beds were super comfortable, and the patio had a great view. We had a 2 bed room and our beds were so very comfy. However, other family members had king beds and their mattresses were very hard. The rooms could use some renovating since they seem old. Also, the breakfast options were lacking. No gluten free stuff.

Unfortunately, my second separate 3 day stay within a week was once again marred by the room not cleaned properly. This time a dirty towel was left hanging on the back of the door in the bathroom. The two hide-a-bed chairs again had debris left from previous guests, seemingly numerous. Crumbs and food wrappers were under the chair cushions and one of them actually had a dog biscuit under it! Unacceptable! I told the housekeeper who seemed to push the blame off onto a different housekeeper, and asked her to clean the room. She said she would, but when we returned to our room again that night, it was still unclean. I complained to the front desk and the next day it was finally cleaned. I really enjoyed this property even though the furnishings are old, but it has a beautiful view and is convenient to my reason for visiting the area. However, the lack of cleanliness on my last two stayd makes me reluctant to stay there again.

Beautiful property, they recently upgraded so you get a very good value. Breakfast options were very poor. The staff is not the most helpful, we complained about uncleaned bathroom, while they apologized they did not send anyone to clean even the next day. It is close to the ferry but not walkable to any restaurant - only 5/6 mins away though.

Great location and view. Lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the ferries coming in. Saw a grazing and a few birds.Nice breakfast and breakfast room. Unfortunately, not thoroughly cleaned. Dirty drawers and cupboards. I had to do a clean before I could use the kitchen.in all my years of traveling, I've only had to do a clean of the kitchen once before.so no, I didn't leave a tip in the envelope provided.

Quiet & clean hotel…beware of internet services

Really nice and quiet hotel…rooms were clean and beds comfortable…fridge the shelves were broken. Internet services didn’t work in our room the whole time there…very close to Ferry dock to San Juan Islands. Breakfast not much choices…The manger was very diligent in trying to remedy internet issues…we were offered $40 credit on our rooms and free cancellation of next night if we wanted to vacate the premises. We were very happy with the offer.

Good view over treetops but the kitchen unit lacked adequate supplies (1 bowl, 2 microscopically small coffee cups, etc). Vents were not cleaned. Spartan accomodations showing a lot of wear and tear. Convenient to ferry, not walkable to town. Convenient to ferry but too far out of town for east access to dining, etc.
