We checked in late at night and went to rooms and they smelled so bad of smoke. Called front desk and she said we had requested smoking. We don't smoke she was nice enough to move us to the nonsmoking room. The breakfast buffet was very good. I would recommend this place to stay.

Restful stay

We had drove to WV that morning from NC and back to Mt. Airy in the same day. Straight thru, no rest time, so we decided to get a room before heading to Durham the next morning. The room was quiet and peaceful. Just what we needed.

The customer service from the second we walked in until the time we walked out was 5 star. They went out of their way to be welcoming and even got us a print out of local happenings for the time we were staying and delivered it to our room. I would highly recommend this property and will stay here again when we return next fall.
