This is a truly lovely hotel. A very historic and beautiful building in a gorgeous Cotswold Town
So much history in this hotel
Beautiful gardens even in winter!
The reception and restaurant team are so friendly and helpful and the food is delicious for dinner and breakfast .
We loved the Manor house. Beautiful lobby and dining/pub and excellent room. We will be back for sure. Very helpful staff too and right downtown and easy walk from MIM Train
A beautiful, historic building. A cosy stay for an autumn break.
It was what we were hoping for in a Cotswolds mini-break.
Staff all very friendly.
Food was not as great as expected but perfectly fine.
The room was also very hot and opening the windows to cool the room down so we could sleep meant hearing the busy road outside.
We could also hear the other guests talking late at night on the final night.
We would come back!
The Apple Cottage is an amazing space. We loved it! My wife asked, “See if they have a monthly rate!” She wanted to move in. We will book this again for sure!
Lovely old quintessential English building. Cozy (but not small) guest rooms. Easy 10 minute walk from train station and nice location in the center of town. Food is excellent, especially the rack of lamb. Eggs Benedict for breakfast! Very helpful staff.

A warm and inviting inn with a great dining room and pub. The front desk staff was most helpful and welcoming. Lovely private gardens and ground that unfortunately we couldn’t make use of because of rain. But we admired it from the breakfast solarium.
Very nice hotel. Very good breakfast. Downsides with an old hotel were the many stairs and street noise.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Staff were very helpful and professional. Often went out of their way to assist. Only issues were a front-facing room on High Street that was very noisy at night after I had requested a room that didn’t face the street, and the lack of a shower in the bathroom.
The property has all the charm of a 400 year old structure. The gardens off the restaurant are so peaceful and calming. The restaurant food was amazing and good value. Every one of the staff were amazingly pleasant, helpful and polite. I truly enjoyed the stay.
Loved the garden and patio, deck chairs, gazebo. Very nice staff both at reception and breakfast room. The room was very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This is a beautiful Hotel in a beautiful place. The staff were all very friendly and helpful from check in to breakfast and check out. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy.
The only problem we had was the shower was hand held over the bath because of low sloping ceiling, obviously this couldn't be avoided because of the old building.
Very dog friendly and lovely gardens the Apple cottage was excellent and the hot tub a real bonus for relaxing in whatever the weather . Look forward to visiting again next year
Another lovely stay at the Manor House. Stayed in our favourite room number 14 but felt the bedroom was looking a little shabby (the four poster needs some attention). The TV in both the bedroom and bathroom didn’t work for a period of time during our stay (which coincided with us returning from a long walk and we just wanted to relax). The internet was very hot and miss too.
We dined in the Brasserie and while staff were attentive at the start, by the time we got to desert the brasserie was busy and we were forgotten about (so we got up and left).
Overall a good stay - lovely countryside on the doorstep
