Good, in spite of the lacking appearance

My stay was fine. It’s just that the property’s general appearance was less than standard. The bed was clean and the bathroom was clean, which is what mattered. The property could use attention to cosmetic details is all I am trying to indicate.

This hotel is very dated, but adequate. Good: comfortable mattress and pillows, nice jetted tub, spacious rooms and friendly front desk. Not Good: mold/mildew everywhere, room smells of mold/mildew, not super clean, VERY minimal breakfast, noisy plumbing ( obnoxious noise anytime other rooms flushed) Front desk area was cluttered with: lightbulbs, gallons of paint, food and junk.

The room was exceptionally clean upon my arrival. It was noticeable immediately. No clutter. There were some minor issues in the bathroom needing maintenance but these didn't require immediate attention. A couple of bulb replacements, water tank level indicated a slow leak and the float sticks so it wasn't automatically refilled, the plunger on the bathtub spout was tighter than expected to utilize the shower. I did notify the office so I suspect these were resolved quickly. As the items were minor I didn't request they be fixed during my stay. I will stay here again on my next trip.

When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff. Checkin was normal. Hallway smelled like smoke. No elevator to the second floor; must use main entrance to building as all other doors were alarmed. Room was clean and does not smell at all (unlike the hallway). I would stay again if I come back to the area.

I think the hotel desperately needs renovations or an upgrade for sure. The staff was absolutely amazing though, which is why I gave 3 stars! The staff was super friendly and helpful, that was the best part of our stay! Theresa, the manager, was absolutely awesome!!!

Didnt stay at this "hotel" from hell.

There was no "stay". We took one look at the exterior with ONE car in the parking lot & the condition (slum-like)of the exterior. My husband went in (I refused to go in)& asked about the reservation. Two of the three staff inside the building were smoking. They couldnt find it. We thought, "great, we don't need to cancel then), and set about finding another hotel last-minute-same day kind of stressful. We did end up canceling the reservation online. I'm sure I was charged the late cancel fee. I'm still flabbergasted & can't believe what looks like a weekly down & out type of "residence" hotel (if that's what you could call it) is even on your site. Not using Hotels.com for my travel needs.

The rooms were clean, but the hallway and stairs were nasty dirty with stains all over the carpet and smelled liked dead fish. the exit doors were covered in spiderwebs.

A place to sleep

Nothing special. Breakfast was very minimal and the room was clean but there were noise either from other guests or something else but it was just a place to sleep. I would not stay here again.
