The first room I was placed in had bugs and a literal hole in the bottom of the front door for wind, leaves, and other bugs to crawl through. There also seemed to be poor insulation around the door so that the chill would still get in from outside. I spoke to someone at the front desk about the bugs and she seemed unphased and offered to move me up to a king suite on the second floor of the motel. For the price I paid for the night, the room would have been find enough in set up (it seemed the furniture was all mismatched sizes - it was odd, but whatever for the price), but there were many dead bugs in the room, and again, the door didn't have proper insulation so it was freezing cold throughout the night. I tried cranking the heat but it just blew air without warmth the whole time and was very noisy. Not a great sleep and one of the grossest hotel stays I've had when it came to bugs. I paid a bit less than $90 for the one night I stayed. Maybe had I paid $50 I would have felt it was a better deal.
