It was not bad but, below my expectation. The lobby was well renovated but not the room. The shower box was so small and not comfortable washroom in total. The vanity was old style but not good quality. The AC had a terrible sound so, I had to shut it off to be able to sleep but, the windows were solid and be able to open. In total, I was not 100% happy with my stay.

GREAT GREAT stay

Hotel= ornate & timeless, comfortable bed, good shower & bathroom. Fantastic food @ restaurant. Location= great for walking to downtown businesses or attractions (including bakeries, park, & Temple Gardens Spa). Best part was the front desk clerk though. He was so incredibly funny, friendly, and SO helpful. He made the stay even better!

We were travelling from Winnipeg to Edmonton and decided to stop in medicine hat. We were very pleasantly surprised at the beauty and service at the Grant Hall Hotel. They accommodated our request for an early check-in and we’re very gracious with any requests that we had We would highly recommend a stay at the Grant Hall Hotel for its character and history. It has been lovingly maintained and you can tell the management and staff take pride in their hotel The Grant Hall hotel is within walking distance of all of the major tourist sites, such as the tunnels of medicine hat, murals, and some great eateries

Amazing historic hotel

Wow was my first thought when I entered the lobby. Marble floors, crystal chandeliers, piano, comfortable couches and a piano. Advertised as every room as unique. Mine was. View of Crescent Park. Large closet. Lovely bathroom. Strange to have fridge just set out. Staff was exceptional. Would stay here again.

We had a great time. Just an overnight away from home. We really enjoyed the hotel. Staff was very friendly and they made sure to deliver the oxygen machine we were expecting to our room ahead of our arrival.

Well done!!

Parking was interesting it’s at the back of the building and it’s limited. The lobby is gorgeous, the rooms are older as it’s an older building. But it’s clean!!! The bedding was clean the floors were clean. The coffee maker was slightly dirty with floaties in it. No microwave but it did have a fridge. Staff were friendly and although the dining room was expensive it was delicious food.
