Very Good

Room was small but tidy, bed was a double, not great but ok. Towels were very thin. Almost see through. Shower cubicle was tiny, shower head could only sit straight up, if ypu angled it at all it just flopped over. Pressure and temperature was ok. TV was tiny. Inn gave us a packed lunch for the next day due to breakfast not starting till 9am. The website said breakfast 7 till 9. Not great for £70. Probably not use it again
Value for money. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Clean. My room was quiet.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Staff all really nice. Its really handy for the cliffs which has a beautiful beach below. The hotel is in need of a revamp for sure. Let's hope it can remain in business in the future because its the only public house, restaurant/ hotel in the village
A real hotel with creaky floors and rooms of varied sizes and shapes to suit the converted old building - not the typical block of modern, universal design.
Very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent from our family birthday lunch to breakfast in the morning before departure.
Rooms and the bed were comfortable.
Would definitely stay again.
A great pub stopover.
Stayed here for one night whilst working in the area.
Nothing at all to complain about. Staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome. Food was good,
Both evening meal and breakfast.
At the time of my visit the accommodation was being redecorated which gave the place a more modern feel.
I wouldn't have a problem stopping here again.
The hotel is easy to find with plenty of parking. Check in was quick and the girl who showed me to the room was very polite and friendly. The room is big enough for what I needed, although maybe a little dated and the only thing I would really say that was a negative is the room was cold. There was no heater in the room and no air conditioning to heat it up. I do prefer a slightly cooler room but this was cold. The bed itself is comfortable but cold when I first got it but once it got warm I slept well. The dinner menu had a good selection and the food was very good and plentiful. Overall it’s not too bad a place and if the temperature of the rooms was warmer I would stay again.
Hosts were brilliant a great breakfast set you up for the day. Didnt like the pump toilets very loud in the morning especially when you are up at 06.30 for work and dont want to wake other guests. The room was comfy and clean and warm . Andy and Daniel were great hosts and i would stay again when in the area.
We had a wonderful stay the staff were excellent, close to the beach, if you staying in St Cyrus you have to see the beach.
Every one in the village are very nice
Food is amazing in restaurant and breakfast was lovely.
Highly recommend staying at the St Cylus Village Inn
would love to have more positive feedback but I’m really disappointed by the whole experience of my stay here. The check in was fine and the staff were very lovely and friendly but the hotel has random crap in every corner. Cat litter, an urn etc. The room I had (1) was v outdated with peeling wallpaper, damp and mould. My bedsheets had stains on them. I didn’t sleep well because I felt like it wasn’t a very clean environment. The shower had mould above it so I didn’t bother having a shower, just left to drive home as early as I could.
Breakfast was 9-10am. I went down at 9.10 and there were no tables set but another woman with her daughter there eating cereal so I asked “do you just sit anywhere” and she said “yes I think so”. I sat down and didn’t see any staff until 9.35am. He was bringing in the other table’s breakfast. He said “oh who are you? I was told we only had 2 for breakfast” so I said it was probably 2 rooms and I was the second room. Anyway he rushed about to find a place setting. Asked if I wanted tea or coffee. I answered “coffee please” and he brought me tea. I wasn’t given a bowl or a glass so couldn’t help myself to the cereal or juice. The man said “just one for breakfast” to me and disappeared. He came back some time later with a full Scottish fry up. I wish I’d been able to order as it would have saved a lot of waste given that I’d only have ordered an egg, bacon and tomato. Anyway, he was nice, just a little disorganised and I felt like an imposition!

Nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive ,if it's not there they will they will get one for you (hair dryer). Breakfast lovely will make you what ever you require. Nice bar where you can order your excellent home cooked evening meal. We recommend the steak pie. Bathroom mirror could have been a little bit lower for my little legs other than that no complaints .
