Great location except the entire area closeby is under construction so difficult to navigate. I had intended to dine at the restaurant in the hotel on my first evening but it was taken over by a private party and I was not told that until the last minute. Room needs some attention - freezer iced up - couldn't use, socket in bathroom didn't work, couldn't get a bottle of wine other than 3 selections - red, white or rose of their choice at a ridiculous price. No bottled water in the room. Breakfast - eggs were fried or nothing. Really disappointing. On the good side the valets were good once they found them.

Saint Sulpice Hotel in the cream on top of any hotels in the old town of Montreal. Staff is super friendly. The penthouse suite is fantastic. Luxury and functionality in one. Our teen and us are very comfortable. Will book here again.

The location is good, and the basic hotel, most of the staff, and rooms are great. The TV system is terrible, so bad that we had to use our laptops to watch shows (the technician who came didn't speak English, could not explain how it worked). We also could not use the wi-fi because it was so bad, so I ended up having to use my phone's personal hotspot for the internet. The maids never took out our garbage, which made our room smell. When we left, as I was driving home to Toronto, I got a call on my phone, from the hotel, accusing me of smoking in my room, which never happened, and telling me they were going to charge me 500 dollars. Ater I argued and protested my innocence, the person on the phone said they believed me, but were putting a flag on my name, should I stay at the hotel and my room smells like smoke again. I said my room couldn't have smelled like smoke but it might have smelled because the cleaning staff never emptied our damn garbage for three days. And you're warning me over something you are saying you don't believe I did? How does that work? Honestly, this past stay broke my heart. I used to love this place. For it to be so poorly run, feel technologically dated, and to then be unprofessionally falsely accused on the way home was just terrible, and I cannot recommend it at all.

The room and view was excellent. For once, better than the photos. Downside was that I cannot recommend the breakfast add on. The service is slow and the food isn’t very good. The concierge and the front desk staff are friendly though.

Beautiful room, bright, clean and modern. However we were given a room on the 2nd floor right on top of their restaurant where at night, very loud party music was blasting. We called the front desk however they told us they cannot do anything about it, but the music is supposed to stop at 10pm. This was the only frustrating thing about the hotel. Make sure you ask for a higher floor away from their restaurant.
