It could be better

The hotel is 10 m walk from the center of old Montreal. The lobby is very eclectic with big frames, LA style. Unfortunately it removes the cachet of the building. The hotel floor smelled a little of old carpet. The rooms are huge but again the large frames just removes the beauty of the room. Staff offered good service.

Just do it! Go LHotel!!

The historic building is charming and interesting but the kind and helpful staff made the stay a 5*. We did have to switch rooms due to heat not working but once we got that worked out it was great! Great location in old Montreal and great restaurants around it!

We liked the hotel’s ambiance, loved the art. Had issues with the wireless, the shower controls were broken. Hotel maintenance was very responsive. Ultimately we were moved to another room. We would stay there again.
