The bedroom was visibly a little dirty and the milk I used for my coffee at the breakfast was bad but otherwise this was pretty standard for a room. The shower was a bit broken which made the water pressure light. It felt secure and wasn't too noisy. I just stayed one night and my room had been 'upgraded' so I'm not sure what the room I booked would have looked like in comparison. In the end I would probably book it again bc there were details like a kitchen etc, if I was staying for longer, but not for a single night.

The location is exceptional - close to entertainment, shopping, dining, not far from Old Montreal, close to public transit and groceries. However, the property is outdated. We had a light fixture broken in the kitchen and asked for repair on the first day. We left after 3 days and it was never repaired. The kitchen is tiny and the position of electrical outlet makes it impossible to use it for coffee maker or kettle. If you use it, the wire goes over the sink, which presents a hazard. Washroom is tiny and if someone above your floor takes shower it makes so much noise that you will wake up at night or wonder if anything broken. Still, the staff was helpful and nice at the reception and breakfast area. The breakfast has only cold options, but the bread and bagels are local and delicious. Boiled eggs and cold cut. Coffee was not good and there are no options for people who do not consume milk. The reason we booked the property as it had exceptional reviews, which are not reflecting the current state of the property at all.

Excellent front desk staff who were always friendly and able to address and questions we had. I was happy to know that laundry machines were available ($3 per.load) when i tripped on a jinky Mtl sidewalk and fell into a muddy puddle. The continental breakfast exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!
