Nice hotel. Clean for the most part, but our room was really dusty (TV, phone, headboard). The windows were really dirty on the outside. Fully stocked with snacks and drinks, we didn’t consume anything, but it was a nice touch. The room had no safety box and no microwave, which would’ve came in handy during our stay. The linens and towels were clean, and the bathroom was really clean. The pool was cloudy looking so we didn’t use it, but we saw others using it during our stay. Our room was on the 2nd floor and there was an event (I’m assuming a wedding) on the first floor so there was loud music late into the night. We ate at the restaurant on site, which had a good and tasty menu for food and drinks. The hotel room price was really attractive. Walking distance to Tim Hortons and a corner store. All in all, we would stay here again.

I checked in at 5 pm and when I did the front desk clerk asked for my credit card for “incidentals”…. By 6 pm I received a message from my bank regarding a couple of fraud purchases on my credit card. When he took my card I’m certain that wasn’t protocol but I was tired and gave it to him. He then gave it back and asked me to tap it for the “incidentals” coverage. It does not add up and I’m now out a card because my bank had to cancel it and send me a new one. If anyone else has had this happen that reads this from this hotel please speak up.

The front end staff were very kind and helpful. They offered me a discounted percentage off my dinner in the restaurant that’s located on the property. The mac n cheese dish I had was delicious. The amenities here are amazing. They have a beautiful pool, all-wood sauna and gym to use. My room was very modern and classy. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and will likely be back. I highly recommend staying at this location for any event whether it be big or small as they have conference rooms for weddings. A nice vacay spot for couples too.
