The staff were a bit dismissive and abrasive in how they spoke to myself and my group. Additionally, they asked for all of our ages as they cross referenced our IDs which felt targeted, as if we were lying. We had filled out a pre-check in, upon which we got to choose when we would arrive so our room could be "prioritized" and when we showed up just after that time, we were told we'd have to wait until 3 so that was misleading. As we were checking out, the security deposit (of over $400) came up as fradulent on my credit card and then was charged another amount for which I received no explanation and had to contact the hotel. Overall, we were unsatisfied with the service and the staff over anything else. The room itself was clean, the beds comfortable, etc, but the staff unfortunately brought the overall experience down.

Loved It!
What an excellent location and a great room! We loved how roomy it was, how comfortable the beds were, and the kitchenette that had everything we needed to eat our own choices of food. The IGA is just a short walk down the street. We decided to have some charcuterie options for or breakfasts and lunches. Just perfect. Chinatown is only about 2 blocks away and there are many dining options in just about every direction from the hotel. We didn’t have a car, which was never a problem. We’d stay here again.

I would definitely stay here again. Can walk everywhere, Old Montreal, St Catherine’s St and to the Metro. The place was clean just a little dated, loved having a full kitchen.

Great location, amazing staff, average room, and depending on which room there were some flying insects and uncomfortable temperature. It does have a kitchenette, laundry facilities on site. The dryer is free, but it is truly a budget conscious hotel designed for families on a tight budget. Walkable to food options and tourist attractions wouldn’t recommend for a romantic getaway as the room is very average. OK for a two nights stay. Overall, Quick 2 to 3 nights stay to have fun eating and partying around the surrounding areas perfect! Romance and luxury, Don’t even think about it. Try Boustan restaurant! The beef/chicken bowl dressed is on point!

This property desperately needs to be updated. I stayed in two different rooms. One was average. The other had bugs flying around and could not reach a comfortable temperature. The staff is amazing. The location is 2nd to none. once this place is updated in its decor And perhaps they can expand the lobby and add a bar to give you an area to sit back relax and have a drink and not always have to leave to feel comfortable while you make decisions for your day. It will become a true gem!!!

We purposely chose this hotel for its price as we knew we wouldnt be in the room except to shower and sleep. The bed and pillows were comfortable; however the sheets had rips and the carpet had stains. Additionally, my husband dropped something on the floor by the bed and when he went to reach for if found lots of pringles. Loved the free laundry and the walkability to thr Metro, restaurants, Old Montreal. We would likely stay here again but really hope the cleaning staff and manager does more thorough audits of the overall cleanliness of rooms.

I was disappointed. The picture for a king bed and a kitchen shows an upholstered sofa and chair with a coffee table. I had one office type chair to eat at the table. I had one fork with which to cook and eat. There was no dish soap to wash dishes in the sink. I eventually got more cutlery and some dish soap, but I had to ask twice before I received them. I stayed ten days, and I thought they could have done a better job. I would probably look for something else the next time I am in Montréal.

The staff were very kind but otherwise I can’t find any redeeming qualities about this hotel. The room is outdated and not enjoyable to stay in. It’s dark, dingy, and musty. Beyond that, the smell of this room was absolutely disgusting. All of us could not stand the smell to the point where we were barely in the room. The elevator took about ten mins to arrive every time. Would not stay here if it was the last hotel in Montreal.

First, the stove didn’t work. I had to report it in the morning the next day. Secondly half the curtain was missing from main window. I had to sleep with a bright light shining on me all night and definitely no privacy with half the window uncovered . I thought of taking pictures but thought Expedia probably wouldn’t get back to me . Sometimes I seriously wonder if the worst rooms in hotels are used by Expedia

I was given an upgrade to a suite from a studio which was good except the room was shabby compared with renovated rooms across the hall that we saw. There was no comparison! Rust in the bathtub, window in bedroom wouldn’t close so very noisy and old appliances, fridge handle loose, tiny coffee maker and just generally tired. Location was good but room not so much. If they are giving an upgrade don’t disappoint by giving an old room. Losing faith in Expedia.

Property location is very convenient to public transport and is walking distance to Old Montreal, saint Catherine’s Street and Desjardins place shopping centre. Property itself could use some updating to decor, especially bathrooms and carpets. Staff were friendly, accessible and helpful.
