The check-in is at 4pm. We arrived at 5:20 pm. The rooms we booked weren’t ready and the receptionist told me to wait 10 minutes. 20 minutes later still no room. She told me another ten minutes. We waited a total of 45 minutes in the lobby and our rooms were still not ready but we had to leave for a supper reservation. When we came back around 11:00 pm, the new receptionist didn’t understand what was going on. He didn’t believe me that we check in because we didn’t have the keys for the rooms, so we had to check in again and wait again… I asked if the rooms were finally ready he answered arrogantly that I will have to go up and check for myself because he doesn’t know. So, in summary client service was bad, unfriendly, arrogant, no apology. At least the rooms were decent and comfy. The beds were hard (which personally I like. The furniture and walls have some wear and tear but in general pretty. The breakfast restaurant that was right beside the hotel is now closed, but there a few options a bit further. There is a subway station only 5 minutes away on foot. Parking is included in the room fee so this is great.

We did a staycation for the weekend , from the pervious reviews seem like a good place to stay they have a heated pool ,sauna , ice rink ,spa ,free parking. When we stayed the pool wasn’t open , which was confusing because on there site it said it was heated , so I thought it would be open during the winter. There was plenty of restaurants around the area, we thought they had their own restaurant but they said it was closed down. Ice rink was not open , was full of snow. You would think it would be open if it’s on there site. For the spa you need to call ahead , but they our only available for 9am to 4pm ,so if your just staying the night you won’t have time or you might be able to arrange an appointment before your check in. Sauna was open , it 24hour. Free parking was great to have. Room was good, bed was comfortable, tv was up to date flatscreen,windows were large for good sunlight and for bedtime you were able to close them to be dark. Bathroom was updated they have plenty of soap,hair products by ONEKA. You can book on website or you can find some deals on hotel sites.

The hotel was generally quiet with vast, long corridors. The room itself had some very good features: cotton sheets, feather pillows, natural cork flooring, wooden furniture, and a decent washroom with eco friendly soap dispensers. It was evident that there had been renovations in the room but some features had been overlooked, which seemed out of place. The bed was comfortable and the heating worked well. The soundproofing could be improved as we had bad luck with neighbours having a heated dispute very late at night. Although staff were called the bad neighbours resumed their noise later which caused us to lose sleep one of our nights. Although the area is not one to hang out it is conveniently located to areas of interest (Plateau, Outremont, etc.). Convenient outdoor parking. Staff were all friendly.
