Worst F&B Operation Anywhere

The place is clean and they think of a lot of things for families, like the free luggage carts, the fire pits, etc., but the food and beverage operation is unbelievably bad. We went last year and it was awful — a year later it’s not just worse but it’s nonexistent. Neither the diner (Eat Eat Eat) nor the bar (Harvey’s) opened at any point during a Fri-Sun trip. It’s like they know their F&B is so bad they don’t even try any more. Better to not be open than be open and fail? I don’t know. It’s astonishing. Unrelated: the arcade is incredibly expensive.

Me, my daughter and her two children arrived at the resort on Friday 5/23/2025. Check-in was great. Location of the room was great as well. Once entering the room, we always check the beds. The only issue with the room was, there was an old wrist band in one of the bunk beds underneath the fitted sheet and ants in the bathroom. I would ask housekeeping for garbage bags and each day the look she gave was pure misery she wasn't pleasant at all. Our first night we had to order from Bixby for dinner, the food was great (the only restaurant on site that was opened). Sunday was “The Cookout,” I waited in line for God knows how long in the cold! The burgers were RAW!!! Monday decided to rent a cabana for the day in the waterpark. Ordered lunch because the kids had not eaten yet. Ordered three burgers, a hot dog and fries. ALL THREE BURGERS WERE RAW!!! But not as raw as my son’s burger, his burger looked like they laid it on the grill for two seconds and tossed it on a bun! The EAT EAT EAT diner, had a poor selection for a buffet! The eggs were cold and the bacon raw just wasn’t at all appetizing for it to be $100 for four people. Bixby you couldn’t order take out until after 9pm, when the restaurant closed at 11pm. Very disappointed with the steak I ordered from Bixby, the Filet Mignon was supposed to come with mashed potatoes. When I got to the room, there were French fries on my plate. I went back up to Bixby to ask how come my steak did n

The staff was great and my kids had a blast. I had a horrible night the Saturday night. The room next to us decided to have a bashment and had like 30 people in their room playing bachata and all types of music. Those folks should have been kicked out but were not.

We loved the water park and pools. The hotel room was also clean and comfortable. However, we had two major issues within upon arrival. One person in our party was injured while seated in a chair in the main lobby. The front LEG fell off. It’s been two days and we’re still waiting to hear back regarding an incident report. The water park restaurant did not open on time and did not have all of the food options advertised online. Unsure if we will return because staff do not make customers feel valued or safe in their facilities.

This was perfect for what we needed as a family. Went to see a show at Bethel Woods Pavilion and the kids have a fun time at the water park and arcade. Perhaps it is off-season (although I would guess Memorial Day weekend is a popular time), but the facility was understaffed. This caused delays while waiting for breakfast, floors and garbage not being cleaned up properly or at all, and the Memorial Day BBQ took over an hour to get food. Not all the slides were open nor all of the restaurants. And again, long delays due to understaffing. I would recommend but it would be hit or miss if they are properly staffed.

Kartrite Review

The kids had a great time! There was hair in our shower upon arrival and a hat under our pull out couch. I do not suggest getting a patio room because it is close to the arcade and loud if you are trying to get little ones to sleep. The memorial day BBQ lacked organization, food was mediocre at best, and we stood in line for an hour while our children were starving. All of the the cocktails we had were delicious, especially the frozen strawberry margarita in the waterpark. The pizza was also great! The arcade had a wide variety of activities for everyone to enjoy. Our towels were replaced when left outside the room and the pillows were comfortable.

The staff was very welcoming. SANDY WAS AMAZING! She treated us like we were part of the kartrite family. I would come back because of her wow service. After meeting sandy, and her wonderful self. I met two other young staff members and they were also good. Everyone was so kind. We stayed an extra night because the kids were enjoying themselves so much and because we loved our room so much. we will be back soon
