We spent the weekend for my sons 13th birthday! We've stayed at split Rock and Kalahari and I we absolutely preferred being here. The food is a bit pricey for a family of 5 but the food was good. I just wish the food had a wider variety for people who dont usually eat junk food .

The biggest part of the water park was not available, and we were only notified that on the day we arrived. The body soap was empty since day 1 and nobody came to refill it even after we went all the way to tell at the reception because our in-room phone was not working. The dining option was very limited, and they only had tacos on the buffet dining.

Overall, I am very happy with my experience here. I went with my wife and 2 children and everyone enjoyed themselves. The hotel property, arcade and the water park were very clean. Our room was clean and spacious. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave, which was convenient for us. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The waterpark is not big but enough for everyone to have plenty of fun.

Don’t eat there, just stay there.

Low water pressure in the shower in our room. Dinner was not good. I wish they had more pride in their food quality. Eat eat eat was sad. Just sad. Understaffed at the waterpark. Lazy river was closed just about the entire 3 day stay.

I come to this Waterpark multiple times a year and this is my first bad experience. Front desk notified me that I had to pay a resort fee due to 3rd party booking which I never had to do before. Bar staff at the water park were horrible at customer service. One of them saw me and was about to come and took my order and got sidetracked and went to help another customer. Others were busy talking to each other when there were multiple people waiting. Only one staff member was very helpful every time I went to the bar. It should take over 15 minutes to get a drink if there are 4 staff members working. I don’t like to leave a bad review on any organization especially if I have a good experience from the same place I go multiple times a year.
