There was good and bad with our 2 night stay, for the good, the breakfast was very good, nice selection, and quite tasty, beds were comfortable, room was average size. The bad started with check in, not a very friendly person at the desk, didn't advise of breakfast hours, or where the elevator was, ect, our room was at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor, the light was not working at the end of the hall, was kind of dark, I asked the front desk to replace the lamp however was informed on the 2nd day when I asked again they didn't have a bulb. Next issue was the very dirty carpet in our room, many stains, I doubt it had been cleaned in years, we kept our shoes on. This hotel sits about 30 feet from two train tracks, trains go every 15-20minutes all night long, at 4 am they blew the horn waking us up, for light sleepers this may be a problem, it didn't bother us other than when they blew the horn, think that happened 2 times on our 2 day stay. The last issue was, at check in they wanted ID and a credit card in case of damage, this seems common however they charged the card $100 verses just scanning the card, that was noticed a couple days later when we got home, had to do a dispute with my credit card company, then they reversed the charge. I've stayed at much worse places but also much better.
