Room was missing soap, bathmat, proper installation of floor as floor creaked in various spots. Missing coffee mugs, towels, and bath mats. Bath glass shower door would not close as not balanced. Shampoo dispensers empty. Air extractor in bathroom sounded like an over run plane engine. Check in reception staff aggressive and appeared upset that I utilized Expedia for my reservations. Compliment to the repair technicians and the bellboys who were very helpful! Everything could be great but the housekeepers need training as they were new and the reception staff could benefit from customer service training versus being rough with guests and their support staff. My belief that attention to the small details make a big difference!

It is the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced. The front desk made fun of us because we spoke English. The conditions were the worst I’ve ever seen. The manager was rude and extremely unprofessional. We tried to get our money back and move hotels and the manager said, that will never happen if you go some where else, consider me stealing your money.

This hotel is terrible and I will never stay at safi again. First room, 603, was so dirty, with pen marks on the walls and headboards, dirty bathroom tiles, prison feel. Then I was moved to room 525 the concierge es had old blood stains, water stopper was not working, no iron in room, requested one and front desk took about 40 mins to deliver, not to mention one of the front desk clerks gave me a nasty attitude when she moved me from 603 to 525. Had a “ribeye steak” at their restaurant and it was so dry and hard as a rock and super expensive. This was my 3rd time in Monterrey since September but first time at the Safi and I will never stay at this property again.

Every was great the staff where very friendly and helpful. The only thing we didnt like is that there is no microwave or small refrigerator in the room. The hair dryer in the bathroom seemed like it was going to catch fire. Might need to be replaced.
