Location!
Great location near nightlife and the theatre where we watched a comedy show. Easy walk to the wharf and Cannery Row. Parking in the garage on Franklin was a breeze. Great stay!

I have been traveling for over 50 years and this was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Upon check-in, the lady in the front desk gave us cards to our room that didn’t work, so we had to go back-and-forth down the stairs, eight times until we got one card that worked. She made us wait in line every time we had to get a new card? When we got into the room, it was 88° with no ventilation or circulation since we were facing the inside of the building. I went downstairs and asked for some circulating fans. The guy said that he was going to bring one up and he never did…. We waited until 1 AM to go back into the room because it was so uncomfortable. We got up at 5 AM because we couldn’t sleep with all the noise and uncomfortable high temperature. My wife and I were so mad that we stayed in this filthy, noisy, hot and stuffy room that we paid several hundred dollars for?! You advertise continental breakfast so when we went down there to ask about it. They said no we only have granola bars and apples. That is not a continental breakfast and I don’t even see any granola bars. The ladies said that they were out of them?!!! We go upstairs to take a shower and my wife slips because there’s no padding in the bathtub and tore the ligament in her wrist, now she’s in a sling for at least a month and hopefully we don’t have surgery! This hotel should be condemned!

We booked a junior suite that had a king bed and a couch. It was also supposed to have a working (gas) fireplace but it would not turn on. We had staff attempt to get it going be they could not. I asked for a discount the next morning. They offered $30 but since it was booked through Expedia they could not give it to us. Not impressed with the system.

Great location but the rooms don’t have AC so we were hot all day and night, it was hard to sleep with how warm our room was. On the plus side, the Staff was very friendly and great location. The rooms were older and somewhat crusty in terms of cleanliness. Not as bad as a Motel 6 but really expected more for $300 a night.
